According to Grey, Christian is completely focused on work and he is determined to maintain his dominant persona. It is fascinating to read the story with fresh eyes too, having glimpsed Christian’s traumatic childhood and gained an understanding of his motivations.

la novela se me hizo ETERNA, me tardé horrores en leerla y al final ya sólo estaba leyendo por acabar, no porque realmente me interesara. Finally getting to read Christian’s point of view and what he experienced when those elevator doors closed as well as the five subsequent days makes this book an essential read for fans.Prefiero mil veces la trilogía original con la inaguantable diosa interior de Ana, que un sólo capítulo con este mendrugo. It got me to start reading more romance, and with that, I joined groups on goodreads and found so many indie books I may have never discovered and made many friends I’m sure I would have never crossed paths with otherwise. By the time Miss Steele bumbles through the interview, though, he is entirely lost to her unassuming beauty and klutzy charm. E L James revisits the world of Fifty Shades with a deeper and darker take on the love story that has enthralled millions of readers around the globe.

Fan reception for Grey has been positive and the book sold over 1 million copies in its first week of release. Hubiera preferido quedarme con la imagen que Anastasia tiene de él (hombre maduro, sexy, serio), porque pff, Christian Grey es un chiste. Christian Grey exercises control in all things; his world is neat, disciplined, and utterly empty—until the day that Anastasia Steele falls into his office, in a tangle of shapely limbs and tumbling brown hair. Conchita, who seems to know what she is doing, goes down on her hands and knees and manages to coax him out, using a saucer of milk and an old copy of Hustler. I did find myself slightly frustrated at Christian though at one point but that was down to his attitude about Anna and Mrs Robinson. The theft, which occurred on 8 June, [11] has been compared to the 2008 leak of Stephenie Meyer's Midnight Sun, a then-unreleased companion novel that retells the events of Twilight from the perspective of Edward Cullen. This is the first book in the series that tells the Fifty Shades of Grey story from the male point of view: this is Christian Grey’s story. I can be mistaken, but I always thought he was this super domineering alpha who is in control (or aspires to be).

Unlike any woman he has known before, shy, unworldly Ana seems to see right through him - past the business prodigy and the penthouse lifestyle to Christian’s cold, wounded heart. Christian Grey exercises control in all things; his world is neat, disciplined, and utterly empty - until the day that Anastasia Steele falls into his office in a tangle of shapely limbs and tumbling brown hair.

You would expect that by her fourth book, and considering that there has been extensive criticism about her writing ability, she would have made more of an effort but this does not seem to have been the case. Christian’s story obviously goes further to shed light on what he is feeling throughout Anastasia’s story, and it doesn’t disappoint. CHRISTIAN GREY exercises control in all things; his world is neat, disciplined, and utterly empty - until the day that Anastasia Steele falls into his office, in a tangle of shapely limbs and tumbling brown hair. Christian Grey exercises control in all things; his world is neat, disciplined, and utterly empty - until the day that Anastasia Steele falls into his office, in a tangle of shapely limbs and tumbling brown hair. A flashback to this period would have offered further insight to Christian’s point of view, perhaps a flashback to the fight that he has that gets him in trouble as a teenager (as told by Mia in 50 Shades Darker) or showing an example of Christian’s interaction with girls his own age at that time.

There are things that have been left out that were in the first book but have been replaced by something that has happened or is happening in Christian's life. But let me tell you that when I read the books, even with the crazy amount of his issues, I always thought of Christian as sexy, confident and powerful. But if you ARE both of the above I recommend you give this a go and highly recommend picking up the audio! She co-produced for Universal Studios the Fifty Shades movies, which made more than a billion dollars at the box office. I enjoyed the flashbacks to Christian’s childhood, his relationship with Leila and his relationship with Elena.Whereas the leak of Midnight Sun caused Meyer to put the work on hold until 2020, James stated that Grey would be released as scheduled. When I read the trilogy, I tried to imagine Christian’s feelings, particularly as we were given a few clues along the way and this book is a vehicle to assist the reader on this train of thought. She was a producer on each of the three Fifty Shades movies, which made more than a billion dollars at the box office.
