There were a lot of refreshing aspects, like Creon having to communicate through written notes (even though you can imagine the communication problems that brings) and him being incredibly morally grey, and Emelin having forbidden magic. Bringing their own unique and counter-balanced personalities to proceedings they ask questions such as: what is happiness?
