There were several odd paint choices used on this figure. The left arm is molded in purple plastic to properly match the rest of the robot mode… but is then painted over in tank-mode grey paint, even though the arm is not visible in tank mode at all. The vehicle mode's wheels are molded in the same translucent orange as the cannon, and then painted over with a slightly different shade of orange. Hasbro lead designer Bill Rawley commented at BotCon 2010 that these must have been paint-assignment errors. This character article is a stub and is missing information on their video game appearances. You can help Transformers Wiki by expanding it. Universe Galvatron transforms into a tank reminiscent of the Israel Weapons Industries Merkava main battle tank with some design elements taken from Megatron's old Neutro-Fusion Tank. On the tank turret is the slogan "GALV-25", in reference to the Transformers brand's 25th anniversary. In one possible outcome, Galvatron's plot proceeded forth without any Autobot interruptions, and the Decepticon gained an upper hand in their war with the Autobots that would most assuredly grant them total victory.

Accessories: Two-piece Particle Beam cannon, Matrix of Leadership, chain, 2 "side cannons"/ Revenge ships Galvatron tried and failed to breach the Allowed Zone in a disastrous conflict known as the Great Push. Micro-Aggressions Intersectionality This almost doomed the Cybertronian species as the humans responded to Galvatron's invasion by practically halving the territory they allowed Cybertronians to possess. The Builders' best scientists thus destroyed Galvatron by vivisecting him, turning his remains into the G-Virus. Thereafter, Galvatron became known as the worst Builder in history, taught to be reviled by the Maximals and Predacons. Micro-Aggressions Despite what history recorded, Nucleon believed that Galvatron had very nearly succeeded in destroying the Human Confederacy. A Brush With Infamy–Prologue Energon Galvatron — This Epic character first appeared in the "Christmas Breaker" event, and could be recruited by collecting 650 units of Cybermetal, 350 units of Transmetal, 150 exclusive cores, and 50 cores of this character. If Ironhide, Brawn and Grapple attempted to snatch the ship away from Galvatron, the Decepticons destroyed both the ship and the sphere within to prevent it from falling into Autobot hands. Galvatron now knew that the Autobots were hidden away in nearby caves, and had his Decepticons use their superior firepower to pin them down, leaving them at his mercy. After a nearly endless war that resulted in the AllSpark parting from Cybertron for good, Kingdom episode 1 Megatron killed Optimus Prime, lamenting that they should have worked together. Afraid of the possibility of this occurring in the past, Unicron enslaved and reformatted Megatron into a life of servitude as Galvatron. Megatron's reformatting was recorded at the end of the Voyager Golden Disk, which Megatron used to record his every action during the Great War. Kingdom episode 5 As the Autobots and Decepticons died out, Unicron and his minions were a constant threat to the Maximals and Predacons that emerged from the uninhabitable Cybertron. Kingdom episode 6Dubbed "Galvatron Purple Clear Version", this redeco of the Universe Galvatron mold is cast in transparent purple plastics, emulating the scene in The Transformers: The Movie where Megatron is reformatted into Galvatron. Closer than ever to reaching the Allspark, the Decepticons awakened after crash-landing on pre-Ice Age Earth. While battling the Autobots, both sides were joined by the Maximals and Predacons, their epic battle changing their combined destinies. Nonetheless, the G-Virus eventually infected one victim: the Builder guard Cop-Tur, who was transformed into a clone of Galvatron, possessing the personality and memories of his progenitor. Dawn of the Predacus Others say he was defeated by four Autobot warriors and buried under ice on Earth, while according to some he was pulled into another universe by Unicron. Beast Wars Sourcebook Glossary In a completely different possible scenario, Galvatron led a Decepticon campaign to retrieve a sphere of cybertite, containing the secrets to an ancient Autobot power-booster within it. After his troops learned that the sphere was within a sunken ship off the California coast, Galvatron headed a squad to retrieve it. All promotional photographs of this piece showed it deliberately mistransformed in vehicle mode, with the cannon left stretched above the turret, apparently to make it look more show-accurate less like a real-world tank. Megatron fought his Prime in final combat and fell to a blow from the sword Rhisling. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/09/19

Revenge of FOMO. "Behold, Galvatron!" is a redeco of Kingdom Galvatron meant to represent the sequence of Galvatron's creation in The Transformers: The Movie. The figure and its traditional accessories are now cast in translucent purple plastic, ornamented with white printed detailing. Released as part of the second wave of the e-HOBBY exclusive Transformers Character Card series, this pair of holographic trading cards depict super-deformed art of Rodimus Prime and Galvatron along with character profiles and tech specs. So Armada Galvatron [...] that came from the Beast Wars II Megatron [ sic] colors. I was working in the Japanese office, and that item was around and I really liked the pinkish purple on that one—I mean I've shifted these colors, so they're not the same—but it's more influenced by that Megatron than it is actually Galvatron. Energon's Megatron-to-Galvatron shift, that Galvatron is more traditional animated movie Galvatron colors, right? So very much Beast Wars II is where that came from, at least my inspiration."— Aaron Archeron The Toy Armada, "Toy Armada Friday night LIVE: Redecos (why they matter)", 2023/04/28 One million years ago, Cybertron was at relative peace. Most Transformers were nothing more than citizens of the planet, the Autobot army simply guarded the majestic Cyber City, and no one had heard of "Decepticons". The standard-sized Transformers lived alongside villages of the smaller-sized Mini-Cons, and all of them were caught unawares by the sudden rise of Megatron. He and his soldiers came seemingly out of nowhere, sweeping through Mini-Con villages and performing horrible experiments on the diminutive Transformers. The Decepticons had discovered how to rewire Mini-Cons to interface with them, drawing power from their new slaves. Armada #1 Such manipulation of the Mini-Cons was based on ancient technologies Megatron discovered. More than Meets the Eye: Armada #3
