Ideal for children from three onwards it isn't just a map book it is an introduction to the world and the illustrations could start many stories.

Opening with an original style of contents page, consisting of a world map with countries labelled with the pages where information can be found, the atlas is divided into eight sections, looking at countries within each continent plus the Arctic and Antarctica.Talk about all the fabulous things to do in each country and detailed history with great quality pictures, even ive learnt something new. It’s a beautifully illustrated picture book, which still has pride of place in his room now he’s a teenager. With so much to see this book would make a lovely Christmas gift and will certainly keep everyone entertained after Christmas lunch! Não é um atlas completo, pois não contem todos os países, mas recomendo como livro introdutório para crianças.

I bought this book for my husband, he loves maps and has travelled extensively, I know that he will love it and he will also enjoy showing it to our grandchildren. Dust Jackets are not guaranteed and when still present, they will have various degrees of tear and damage. A feast for the eyes, with lavish drawings from the Mizielinskis, go on a journey and discover cities, rivers, mountains as well as cultural places of interest, iconic animals and personalities. This book would have been very welcome at my school last term when Iceland was included in the Year 1 topic of Around the World!

The amount of interesting information any child or adult can pick up from thumbing through this book is amazing in my opinon. May also contain light spine creasing or a few markings such as an owner's name, short gifter's inscription or light stamp. It’s incredibly detailed but also kid friendly, but every adult we show is intrigued by this map as well! This is a very well put together lovely looking keepsake book that I think any kid interested in maps, geography and the world around them will love! My daughter is so happy with it, lots of friends and family have commented on how beautiful it is and the quality is amazing.
