Did you know that many Sylvanian Families buildings are connectable, letting you create your own Sylvanian world? Did I tell you that several new families just moved into Sylvania?! I’ll bet you can’t wait to meet them, find out more about them here. Obviously we already have the wonderful Seaside Restaurant – a popular haunt for family lunches and a place I have spent many an evening eating delicious grub – but now there is a whole new exciting set of other activities to do and places to visit beside this lovely waterside eatery. It’s not just the houses that are connectable, you can also connect the Supermarket to the Toy Shop, which itself connects to the Sweet Store, so you can create your own unique village high street. The Supermarket is extra versatile in that it can also be attached to the Cosy Cottage Starter Home, Cedar Terrace, and Maple Manor when it’s already connected to the Toy Shop. Why just have a few Sylvanian shops when you can recreate the whole Sylvanian high street? And you can even combine your shops and properties to make a giant Sylvanian dwelling! Ahoy there, young ones, I’m Freya’s Grandfather, and this month I sailed across Sea Breeze Cape in my beautiful new Seaside Cruiser House Boat. When I returned, I was delighted to find out that there were new families to welcome to Sylvania!

Father Mason Marlowe is quiet, reliable and close to his family. He spends his down time shopping with his daughters and teaching wife Natalie, and other Sylvanians, to play tennis. A trip to the supermarket might be one of the more mundane tasks on a Sylvanian’s to-do list, but it’s still an important part of their day. And many of the Sylvanian children love to visit this bright little supermarket which is bursting with fruit & veg, bread, and lovely meals for the family to eat together. As well as the supermarket itself, and lots of shelving units, this set also comes with a trolley to hold your food and enough grub for the whole Sylvanian Village! Whether you need to buy carrots or cereal, this shop has everything a Sylvanian Family could need for mealtimes! It can also be connected to the Toy Shop and Sweet Store, making a busy Sylvanian High Street. A hop, skip, and a jump from local amenities, Beechwood Hall comes complete with a reversible floor which can be used to add additional living space, or even a makeshift garden. Boasting an impressive balcony, this property also has a moveable staircase with eight balustrades. The Country Tree School is such a fun school! Whilst there is a classroom which comes furnished for lessons for up to six Sylvanian children, complete with six seats and desks, the teacher's desk and whiteboard, there is also a tree to climb in break time! A balcony overlooking the beautiful Sylvanian scenery provides the perfect platform for pupils to get inspired for their art lessons or spot some wildlife. For any little star-gazers, there is a telescope fitted to the roof which can also be connected to the tree for a better view. Finally, there is also a bench for your little Sylvanians to relax after many hours practising their sums and ABCs. I’ve always fancied camping at the beach – with the sound of the waves soothing Grandma Chocolate and I to sleep. Well now there is a special Seaside Camping Set! Tiffany just loves the great outdoors so she’s been spending a lot of time outside now that this lovely tent is here! Little Baby Beth loves ice cream just as much as her mother, and she dreams of becoming an ice cream stand owner. She treasures the vanilla white scarf her sister Julia knitted for her! The smaller members of the Fenton litter includes baby Poppy who loves to dress up and twins Marley and Shiloh. Marley loves his trumpet, especially accompanying Sadie on piano and Shiloh wants to be just like her big sister Sadie when she grows up.Mother Nancy is a quilter extraordinaire and can make anything from clothes to curtains. She even holds ever popular sewing classes for crafty mums and their daughters. The best part of Christmas is giving presents – don’t you agree? I spend nearly the whole year finding that perfect gift just so it will light up someone’s day at Christmas. Seeing their face shining with excitement as they open their gift is what Christmas is all about.
