The enormous size of Darth Vader’s personal flagship is highlighted by the 2 Star Destroyers that ‘fly’ alongside it. At this point, the only OT vehicle I can see people getting reasonably excited about over becoming a UCS set is a TIE Bomber. It’s not until you build the base of the seats and the steering column in bag three that you get a hint that this might be a vehicle. Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder is an iconic vehicle from the Star Wars universe, and as such it deserves to be treated with love and respect.

I'm not a UCS collector but I really like this one, doesn't seem to be the general consensus here though. Even the unboxing is a fun journey within itself, with the vibrant packaging showing off the intricate details of the final built set from several different perspectives.

Now, for the rest, some ships are bigger than minifig-scale (X-wings), some ships are smaller (Star Destroyers). That instantly makes it stand out amongst the crowd; Lego models – and Star Wars ships in particular – tend to be angular by their very nature. Place the Snub Fighter Pilot in the cockpit and the thermal detonator in the rear compartment, then launch into action. The double sided print really sets it apart and make the speeder come to life as it cruises across the sand. C-3PO’s printing is identical to the new design that came in this year’s 75339 Death Star Trash Compactor Diorama, except that it adds printing on the sides of the legs, and of course, the double-molded leg itself makes it pretty distinct.As for LEGO making minifig landspeeder every ~3 year or so , they are probably popular enough too , maybe not with people already owning one of those sets already, but kids/new people getting into LEGO SW , especially via A New Hope. The landspeeder is a very small vehicle, with the seats essentially sitting on the floor, and the model nicely retains this streamlined look. Build and display a massive Ultimate Collector Series version of the Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser. There was also a a lot of support for a Nebbie, a twin-pod cloud car or a T-16 might be interesting, the sail barge would be popular, the skiff probably less-so, and they could probably make the Rebel transport and at least one Mon Cal cruiser work (but they’d need to be spaced out a bit. The most obvious explanation is that the white pins will appear in more sets soon, and weren’t produced exclusively for this set, but that remains to be seen.
