Wilson engineers replaced Triniti’s STR duraweave felt with a version of the woven, high quality felt used on the US Open Extra Duty tennis ball. We usually find that after a couple of heavy sets, most balls have worn down and aren’t really in a usable condition for our next match, be it straight after or a few days later. The Wilson Triniti, on the other hand, seemed to wear down a lot less and maintained its bounce for longer, which meant they were fine to play with on several occasions, making them well worth every penny.
