Description

Overall, the Lian Li O11D EVO PC Case has a sleek and modern design. The main structure is manufactured with stainless steel whilst the exterior panelling is either brushed aluminium, mesh, or tempered glass. Contributing to the smooth aesthetic, the power button wraps around two edges of the chassis, whilst the reset and RGB buttons remain on the side. This incredible case is available in three colours, with this model being the white version. Inside and out, this PC case has a clean and bright style, with silver screws to prevent interrupting the look. RGB LED Strip The good news is that the core chassis is very good indeed and allows you to build a high end PC that is fairly conventional and which functions well. The case is not especially large and has excellent thermals along with very good cable management. Plenty of space is available in the O11D EVO XL for accommodating modern, powerful, and large components. There’s also sufficient cooling with the support for 3 × 420mm radiators. All 3 sides can hold up to a maximum of 420mm radiator. The EK-Quantum Reflection² PC-O11D EVO D5 PWM D-RGB is a custom water cooling reservoir, routing, and pump solution that seamlessly fits into the front of the case. This waterway is also equipped with four innovative push-in ports that come with female G1/4″ threaded adapters. The idea is that a user can assemble the whole radiator + fittings and use these push-in adapters to simply slide it into the distro plate. Should you prefer vertical or, the more traditional, horizontal mounting, then AiO cooling is the best option. There is support for three radiators and up to ten fans across the chassis. In both Normal and Reverse modes, up to a 360mm radiator can be mounted on the top, side, and bottom, with the latter two having support for 280mm models, also. Depending on radiator size, up to three 120mm or two 140mm fans can be installed in the same areas, with the tenth being a 120mm fan on the rear. Dual-Chamber, Sleek Interior

The O11D EVO XL’s front pillar can now be easily removed, providing an unobstructed view for showcasing hardware without affecting the case’s structure. If you want more external ports than this, there's also an Additional I/O kit, which can install in any of the three previously mentioned places at the bottom of the case. It delivers two more USB-A ports and one more USB-C port. Just note that you'll need ample front-panel connectors/headers to use both the standard and additional IO kit, as both use one USB 3.0 header and one USB 3.1 front-panel connector. The adjustable motherboard tray can move up and down with three levels of height to fit different fan and radiator combination. The motherboard tray supports a maximum of E-ATX (width 280mm) motherboard. All-In-One Affordable, easy to install, maintenance-free liquid cooler with class-leading performanceIf you're the type of PC builder who's never quite happy with the features of any case, or you want a chassis for your rig that can grow and change along with your evolving rig, Lian Li's O11D EVO might be perfect for you–so long as you have lots of space. EK has made a build to showcase this distro plate. If you wish to make the exact same loop, EK has an option called – Shop The Loop, where you can buy exactly the same components to make a loop like in their visuals. This kit allows you to take the I/O panel from the bottom of the chassis and move it to the top panel. With the replacement strips featuring the necessary cut-outs, this kit features all the components needed to relocate the I/O panel. From there you will have easy access to the two USB 3.0, one USB 3.1 Type-C, and HD audio ports.Having the panel situated on the top means the additional I/O module can be placed in any of the three available spots. To satisfy any need, the modular I/O port includes 1 × USB Type C and 4 × USB Type A ports. At the bottom of the chassis, the I/O module can be relocated to 3 different locations without the use of any tools. Lian Li has been teasing us about the O11 Dynamic EVO for most of 2021 so when our sample case arrived it wasn't exactly new to us but neither was it entirely familiar.

Since it's designed to be equipped with the user's choice of hardware, including fans, the Lian Li 011D EVO presented a slight testing challenge in terms of comparing it to cases delivered with a loadout of their own fans. It overcame that challenge by flowing sufficient air in "exhaust only" mode using nothing more than the same closed-loop cooler that we'd used to evaluate those other cases. The motherboard is a great design, it’s the ASUS ROG STRIX Z690-A Gaming WiFi D4, this not only looks great with nice white and silver detailing, but it also oozes that quality build you expect from ASUS, great job! Makes me think twice about speccing in the ‘F’ or ‘E’ now! To put this case through its cooling paces we will be using a test system consisting of an Intel Core i9-12900K CPU, Sapphire RX6800 XT graphics and an SSD. This system allows us to produce a substantial amount of heat and effectively test the Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO‘s cooling capabilities. On paper the Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO appears to have changed very little from the original O11D. You can now install a 280mm radiator in the side location and there are mounts for nine storage drives, rather than six. As you will see in our video, the devil very much lies in the detail as you can flip the case from right hand to left hand and can also install a range of accessories that include two different GPU mounts. The Lian Li O11D range is known for its modular innovations. The latest O11D EVO takes modularity to the next level. In addition to the easy to remove panels, this mid-tower case can be configured in one of two modes: Normal and Reverse. Whether your desk set-up is skewed to the left or right, you can create the perfect showcase gaming PC. Thanks to the hassle-free design, it only takes a few simple steps to arrange the Lian Li O11D EVO into Reverse Mode. The top and bottom panels can be switched and the whole case flipped, putting your hardware to the left-hand side of the case rather than the traditional right.Utilising the innovative, dual-chamber design, cable management is incredibly easy within the Lian Li O11D EVO. There is even a cable management bar as part of the second chamber, allowing you to neatly bundle cables together and feed them through the rubber grommets on the separating panel. This chamber features everything you need to keep cables under control, including a hook and ties. Not only does this design keep your PC interior looking sleek, but keeping the PSU separate helps to keep temperatures down. KitGuru Says: The Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO is superb and may well be the best case of 2022 (and it's still 2021).
