The vinyl reissues included digital copies of all of the second disc material as well as pdf renderings of vintage "Blurb" fanzines from the period of each album. Albarn's fascination with urban decay was apparent on MODERN LIFE IS RUBBISH, but with the followup PARKLIFE, Blur embraces the modern.

Very secure, safe and strong packaging [📦] Our items are brand *🅽🅴🆆* We mostly sell the latest available release/pressing. the original is appealing in that it's nice and warm but at the expense of immediacy and spatial information.I haven't heard the 2012 double album, but the original 1994 UK sounds very good, Girls and Boys sounds fantastic on it. The only difference is that one of the pressings is on typical thin vinyl (common on LPs/12" singles from this period. At a time when Oasis were aping the sounds of their pub-rock heroes on Definitely Maybe, Blur drew from the legacy of the Kinks and Small Faces to create an album that's as English as a rainy Sunday in front of the gas fire.

But the vinyl release presented the album in an entirely new light, wowing me with its enriched sound and warmth.Due to inventory and accounting purposes, we do not exchange items received for different items than originally purchased. Light creasing and wear to sleeve and insert, record has a couple of light isolated scratches but overall just has light crackle and noise at times. I'd still like the vinyl but I'd need four of them and it's just too expensive and those deluxe CDs are still excellent. Recorded at Hive Mind Studios in Brooklyn, NY, with the help of producer/arrangers Mike Buckley and Vincent Chiarito (both members of Charles Bradley's Extraordinaires) and crack team of a-list musicians, his upcoming album blends heavy arrangements and introspective lyrics with sophistication, leaving the listener in a blissful wash of wonderment.

There’s also an early version of “One Born Every Minute”, which later appeared as the b-side to “Country House”.Also on the front cover it has the same clear sticker as found on the original 1999 vinyl release and A WARNER MUSIC GROUP COMPANY printed on labels. I had zero vinyl and three of the US CD releases plus Best of Blur at that time, so my situation was very different. Parklife" is an irreplaceable slice of British pop culture that solidified Blur's place in music history.
