The pictures are really adorable, and Keane's background working on movies like Tangled and Frozen really shines through. A heartwarming book for young children about the challenges and joys that come with giving and receiving love. THEORISTS VS EXPERIMENTALISTS - Listen, I don't care for physics, I had an A back in high school but I always hated the subject (sorry not sorry). And the supporting love poem in the book is written by novelist Julia Gray, whose lyrical verses frame your own words and lend them an effortlessly romantic flair. This thoughtful and heartfelt gift is filled with pages of heartfelt reasons why you love and appreciate the special person in your life.

Not to mention I couldn't feel any chemistry between Jack and Elsie, and it all made for a rather lackluster read by the end.I loved our main couple, I loved the side characters (I would read an entire novella about visits with Millicent), I was super invested in the plot, and the third act and finale is just…everything is so good. It’s also a metaphor for adults on having to give their own children independence when the time is right, too.

Meanwhile, her mother forces her to become a negotiator to solve her big brothers' extra immature problems they've gotten themselves into! Five children from different countries show us who they love and how to say 'I love you' in their own languages. First, she refuses to believe that Jack is attracted to her even though he tells her so on multiple occasions. I would love to open up this app and hear Benedict Cumberbatch reading "The Good Morrow," or Ewan McGregor, David Tennant or Robbie Coltrane reading Robert Burns. Honestly, it's not as similar as i thought it would be (referancing my previous review down bellow) but with that said there were still a heap ton of tropes and similarities to her other books. This is a perfect bedtime book about the everlasting bond of love between a little mouse and her mummy or daddy.

In the very first chapter we got told her favourite movie was Twilight (pop culture reference is not good, we dont like that) and honestly her professor should have failed him because she liked twilight. It’s extraordinarily thoughtful – perfect for celebrating a birthday, anniversary, Valentine’s Day or just how much you love them. Maybe Twilight fans will appreciate the Twilight references and the fact that Elsie reads people (almost like Edward) but Jack is the only person she can’t read (almost like Bella), but I’m not a Twilight fan. Usually Ali throws tropes into a mixing bowl and hopes for a delicious cake but thankfully it was a flowy story and that was not the case.Unfortunately, the text is simply a series of soppy, frequently nonsensical "Love is" statements entirely in line with the platitude.
