Ist dieses Buch lesenswert? Ja. Kann ich dieses Buch jedem ans Herz legen? Auf jeden Fall. Ich bin begeistert, ich finde es toll, es lohnt sich. Auch wenn man viele traurige Momente mit Quinn und Graham erlebt, lohnt es sich. Sometimes, I think I appreciate Colleen Hoover when she marries the romance genre with sensitive and usually, skirted upon topics within literature. This very rarely is approached in today's writer society and so, it's colossal in it's results. There have been a handful of times where I’d stare at the cover, read the blurb over a few times, take a screenshot of the cover, look at a few other books that I still probably haven’t gotten to, take a screenshot of those books and…well, you get the idea. After narrowing it down I’d choose one, but it was never All Your Perfects . I mean, until now. Unsure of what to do, Graham is at a loss for what he can do to save their marriage. Instead of confronting Quinn, he pretends everything is okay.

And he was SUCH a good guy and loved her SO much that instead of realising the love of his life is clinically depressed he cheats on her and then justifies this by claiming he was thinking of HER all the time. Graham and I both stand up. Neither of us look toward Ethan’s apartment. Graham has a tight grip on my hand as he leads me to the elevator. The third and final installment in the Slammed trilogy, This Girl takes the familiar story and turns it on its head, with the story unfolding from Will’s perspective, rather than Layken’s. The couple continues to struggle with the shadows of Will’s past, balancing the weight of that with the hope of their future. Graham and Quinn were not perfect, but who is? What matters is that there was always one person fighting for each other. Even when their future seemed bleak. If a scientist could figure out how to align the heart with the brain, there would be very little agony left in the world."As always, my mother has perfect timing with her incoming text. I retrieve my phone and look down at it.

This mystery romance follows a lifelong couple, Charlie and Silas, who have been in love basically since birth but wake up one day with absolutely no memory of each other. Together, they must work to unravel the truth of what happened to them and why they fell in love in the first place. Even his smile is sad. It makes me wonder if his smile would be different under different circumstances. There’s a sadness about him. Not one related to our current situation. Something deeper… like it’s embedded in him. I’ve met people who smile with their eyes, but he frowns with his. Everything suddenly feels heavier with that comment. I don’t want to cry but I know this is all going to hit me any minute now. I met Ethan right after I started college and we’ve been together four years now. That’s a lot to lose in one moment. And even though I know it’s over, I don’t want to confront him. I just want to walk away and be done with him. I don’t want to need closure or even an explanation, but I’m scared I’ll need both of those things when I’m alone tonight. He shakes his head. Tiny little fast shakes that indicate I couldn’t be more wrong and he couldn’t be more right. I have the right apartment. I’m positive. Does your fiancé drive a blue Volvo? What’s the secret to such a perfect marriage?” The old man leaned forward and looked at me very seriously. “Our marriage hasn’t been perfect. No marriage is perfect. There were times when she gave up on us. There were even more times when I gave up on us. The secret to our longevity is that we never gave up at the same time.”

Gah, and the epilogue!! SO BEAUTIFUL. By the end I was just sobbing big ugly crocodile tears of happiness. When we find out that Graham cheats on Quinn with a girl from work named Andrea. “I never slept with her, Quinn. We just . . . it never got that far. I swear.” He kissed her two work days, and only told Quinn because she found out. Once Graham and I are outside, we just stand on the sidewalk, dumbfounded. I wonder if the world looks different to him now because it certainly looks different to me. The sky, the trees, the people who pass us on the sidewalk. Everything seems slightly more disappointing than it did before I walked into Ethan’s building. The title, Slammed, is a reference to poetry readings which are called “Slammings” at coffee houses and cafes where they are featured. In this story we meet Layken, an 18 year old forced into the new setting of small town Michigan after being raised in Texas.

Regretting You follows a young mother, Morgan, and her teenage daughter Clara. Morgan is determined to keep Clara from making the same mistakes she did, getting married and pregnant far too young, and Clara basically thinks her mom is uncool. The two must learn to coexist when Chris, their husband and father respectively, suddenly and mysteriously dies. I don't plan on writing a small ass summary of what this book is about or a blurb. I can't, because nothing I can possibly write will do it justice. I also recommend going into this one blind. Let it hit you full force, you may be on the ground for the next couple of days - but I guarantee you, it's worth it. At least it is for me.
