Description

All LEGO® bricks and pieces are dropped, heated, crushed, twisted and analyzed to make sure each one meets the highest safety standards in the world. This year my better half picked up the HP one for me and the kids said I should see if you wrote about this one too. It seems perfect given 2020 also brought us the mini-figure girl in pajamas in mini-figures series 20 (71027-15). At the very least, in addition to the couch and gramophone, it’s now another model that isn’t a micro-model, so can be used for Harry and Cho to interact with!

That these mini-dolls are obtained behind doors 1 and 24 works really well and indicates to me that the LEGO Group is also considering the door opening sequence in its design. The ticket is from the new Hogwarts Express set and Luna's glasses and the tall stand for there golden minifigures are from: https://blockwarts.He comes with his cape and lightsaber, although it might have been even more fun to see his cape somehow match the sweater! The Grand Piano isn’t particularly “wizardy” but the design makes it a winner in my books, and the size and scaling is just perfect for the minifigures to interact with! It is time to open the first door of the advent calendar, which I have been gazing longingly at on the shelf for so long. The “furniture” side of the Advent Calendar is quickly filling up, and a cosy little scene is coming along quite well. On Day 8 of the Harry Potter Advent Calendar, we get the golden egg that Harry courageously snagged from the Hungarian Horntail in the Triwizard Tournament!

As the big day gets closer, kids can recreate Hogwarts™ holiday scenes – including the amazing Yule Ball! The 24th window is usually the “seasonal build” and finale, so you should expect something quite special on your birthday! They were released on the 1st of September and will retire at the end of the year—make sure to pick one up before they are gone! To date this set has a large number of exclusive pieces with even more pieces that are unique to just a handful of sets making it a great way to pick up some rare pieces.

And at the same time, it is not a piece I would have thought of if I was in charge of designing the calendar. I appreciate this blog because it helps me understand how to build Legos or tells me who and what they are. Hopefully this review helps provide information that will allow you to make an informed decision about which advent calendar to pick up for your friends, family or yourself. My opinions are mixed on the minifigures – the recycled minifigures from the Clock Tower set are a bit of a disappointment, I would’ve loved exclusive variants or prints. It provides a waffle iron in Light Bluish Gray with a1x2 plate (3023), a 1×1 clip (15712) and a 1×1 rounded plate with handle (26047). Melding LEGO and Technic in the most ingenious ways, the build is especially challenging but rewarding, especially when you see the functions in action! How about a little patience and understanding that sometimes things happen that are out of our control, like computer issues.
