Description

With a clever opening, your intrigue is hooked from the beginning. Switching between past and present as we see the events in Heather's past which lead up to her current situation of being in hiding as she attempts to find out the truth, the twists and revelations constantly add more to the story to keep the tension high. His brand new novel, THE MOTHER, is a twisty, fast-paced thriller about a woman betrayed and her search for redemption against all the odds. Because if she can't discover who framed her for murder, she will never see her sons again... The first chapters captured my interest right away. There was a phone call, a women's voice, a lie, and an argument. I could feel the tension building as the story progressed. What I loved about this book was it got going right from the start, it began and ended in a way I didn’t expect, there were plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader guessing from start to finish, I thought the characters were great and I loved the plot. Whilst this was another entertaining read, I found it slightly different from what I was expecting.

I really enjoyed reading this latest book by T.M Logan,so well written with strong characters with an ending I didn't see coming. An irresistible new thriller . . . Logan has devised an intricate plot of shifting loyalties and duelling timelines, but the real triumph in The Mother is that fierce, flawed title character. She's a mother like no other. * A.J. Finn, International bestselling author of The Woman in the Window * With the wedding date approaching fast, can Ed finally find the evidence to prove that Ryan’s been lying to them all, before it’s too late?

The Curfew: The utterly gripping Sunday Times bestselling

But Heather has no idea what she’s up against and the lengths someone will go to to keep her from discovering the truth! No need to give a synopsis as you can read the blurb and other posts about this book , but you will be giving yourself a disservice if you don't grab a copy and get reading. Joe Lynch is just an ordinary happily-married man - until one split-second decision throws his life into crisis. A woman attends a funeral, standing in the shadows and watching in agony as her sons grieve. But she is unable to comfort them - or reveal her secret. A decade earlier, Heather gets her children ready for bed and awaits the return of her husband Liam, little realising that this will be the last night they spend together as a family. Because tomorrow she will be accused of Liam's murder. It was supposed to be the perfect holiday - a group of families enjoying a week together in the sun. Four women who have been best friends for as long as they can remember making the most of a luxurious villa in the south of France.

One of them is working against her, willing to sacrifice years of friendship to destroy her family. But which one? As Kate closes in on the truth in the stifling Mediterranean heat, she realises too late that the stakes are far higher than she ever imagined . . . Because five teenagers went into the woods that night, but only four came out. And telling the truth might mean losing everything . . . I have a few of T.M Logan’s books and this one did not disappoint. From start to finish I was gripped. T.M. Logan is at the top of his game - The Mother is a propulsive novel of secrets, heartbreaking betrayal, and what lengths an individual goes to put 'family first'' L.V. Matthews Things soon become more complicated for Heather as it becomes clear that someone out there will stop at nothing and go to extreme lengths to stop her from uncovering the truth. Alone and with only a couple of people willing to help her, Heather soon begins to wonder if she can trust the help around her and asks herself if she is better off going it alone.
