Once the pipes in place it's easy to place a pre bent pipe in the correct angle as the handles and bend are all in one plane line. These benders are much better than the combi benders - easy to carry easy to use and great for close bends. It is made of plastic, so potentially could be a problem, but it's got a nut on it so if you ever wanted to get a replacement, I suspect they'd be easy to replace if you ever damaged it.
