This novel was pretty PG-13 smut-wise, so I have to say that I'm ready for more between both couples in the next book! While she’s a fierce warrior with bravery to spare, princess Austyn is helpless against the dark magical forces that are conspiring against her and her father, the emperor. They excel at using multiple POVs to tell the story, and the world building and history felt richer. We get glimpses behind his rock hard exterior and I’m really excited to see his growth and journey throughout the rest of the series because I have a feeling this man has a heart of gold hidden somewhere. All of the game design, programming, and balance is done by a single person, so every bit of feedback is super helpful!

At the end of AGOMAG, what happens to her is just cruel and I can't wait for her to be the boss lady warrior again. Cassius, former Royal Guard and protector of the princess, is sentenced to death after he views the princess's face before her Unveiling. Moving to the main issue which I have a feeling the majority of the readers will agree to is the length of the book. The writing in this is back to being like ZA style, I don't mind it but would've appreciated it if that wasn't the case. I loved seeing her go from locked in her prison to being out and meeting people and seeing her character growth in that way I really can’t wait for the next book. I don’t know how to describe the plot of this book other than to say that it felt like so many things happened, but at the same time nothing happens at all.

At one point Drake will demand Kyra to get out again, she will be hella mad at him, they will have a bit of enemies dynamics but more from her since he will probably say something that he was possessed by something and didn’t mean to send her back bla bla bla stfu loser. I make very large / experimental changes to the game at a rapid pace, with a large focus on streamlining things that are over complicated, and redesigning systems if they aren't making the game more enjoyable. I really liked Drake and Cassius and hope their stories become more interesting in any future books. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice.Anyway, Orion's bonus POV scene at the Fair at the end of this book is the only great thing about AGoMaG. I liked that she had limitations to her power and I highly recommend reading the prequel first to understand a bit more about Kyra background. Although this book was a thick boi, it was heavily focused on world building and setting up the plot, instead of forcing a romance right away. The book takes way too long to bring her into the fold bc she is the one that really gives the story life.

It's an act that changes the course of his life forever as he meets Drake the night before his sentence is scheduled to be carried out.I am extremely surprised to say that the narrators did a fantastic job especially because I have listened to a few books that I felt they almost ruined with how they narrated them. In true Devil Sisters fashion, the last quarter was heat- griping, earth-shattering, mind-blowingly insane. Everything was so bleak and depressing from her POV seeing as everybody in the palace was under the oppression of Magdor, the evil empress. The most enjoyable part for me though was towards the end where the story branches off and becomes it’s own. It will probably be in the next book 😂 we get morsels of romance here but mostly just setting up the world building and getting to know the characters.
