Some things on the included instruction sheet were unclear such as a few sections of track assembly and where some of the track elevations go. When you press the button on the lighthouse, the light will flash and the lighthouse will alternate between two randomly selected sounds.

My son loves trains, but he played with the IKEA version a lot longer than this, and combined with the above issues, so I really cannot recommend this set, nor Brio over IKEA trains, Duplo or Lego train sets at this time. This includes a crane, tube train with inbuilt flashing head lights (excellent), boat to dock with train/cranes, and figures that fit in the trains. Some mention that it's a good investment for future play, while others say that it is very expensive for what it is. In the future, I would like Brio to print more clear instructions that better illustrate where pieces go and how certain track connections are made.

Some mention that there are a lot of different stations and accessories in this pack, which makes for interesting play.Tried to find second hand brio but it seems to hold its value really well so I just thought I would invest.
