While this can be an issue, and while the lack of physical pieces does remove some tactility from the game, it also opens up unexpected design space. The game would only work if the graphic design of the cards was up to scratch and easy to read, and there has been some real care to make sure that the cards are easy to understand and you get a taste of the overall roll player universe. There is an ambush pack promo available for the game, and while I usually don't like promos, this is a perfect way to expand the types and shapes of monsters available for the game.
