There is another instance when drunken coworkers egg them on to kiss just for fun, but the moment Kurosawa sees that Adachi is uncomfortable he backs off. Adachi, turning 30, suddenly finds himself being able to read other people’s minds – people that he touches, that is. Anime Corner has this look at the anime and manga of Attack on Titan being censored in Malaysia, adding underclothes to the titans. stating that there may be "adult" developments later in the story, though there were no plans of drawing anything explicit. Whenever Adachi reads Kurosawa's mind, willingly or otherwise, he gets a front-row seat to all the things Kurosawa thinks about him, such as admiring Adachi's smell or agonizing over how sexy the mole on his neck is.

I guess the one BIG thing I appreciated was that the author did not use sexual assault or anything related to that as the basis of this love story. Not only does this ability make his journey to work and back by crowded subway almost unbearable, due to the cacophony of other people’s thoughts, but he also realizes that his good-looking, talented co-worker Kurosawa has fallen for him. That said, most hentai manga today is drawn with everything intact, and with a good bit of detail too!

This series is kind of hard to read, especially with the long wait times between the short volumes, because it's so similar to the live action show that I keep forgetting which parts I've already read, and which I've just seen. I thought then Kurosawa overheard Adachi and Tsuge conversation that he was going to find out that way but instead he only heard part of the conversation thus misunderstanding. Adachi's struggling with whether to tell Kurosawa about his mind-reading powers - it's something he would hate anyone to hide from him, but he's convinced the mind-reading is helping his relationship, and that Kurosawa might hate him if he finds out Adachi's been tricking him all along.

It's a lot easier to keep someone interested in you if you can read their mind and give them exactly what they want! Later, Adachi uses his special power to assist Kurosawa during the work day, after Kurosawa is in a bind with a tough client, learning that the company president is a sweet tooth. Tsuge has convinced himself that confessing to Minato has frightened the younger man away – but Adachi isn’t so sure. So many adorable moments ensue, a ton of over-thinking and awkwardness, but also super sweet, swoony moments, too. I was messaging De'Siree on Instagram with questions like, “Wait, this book is backwards, where do I start? The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products. I think it was probably that the author was doing something with her letters on the Twitter serialization and the letterer was striving to match that intensity, but for me I found it just a bit much. Kurosawa edition Kurosawa expresses relief that Adachi couldn't read his mind while Kurosawa was touching his neck. It's nothing too explicit, but Adachi is creeped out all the same and doesn't want to wear said pajamas anymore. Toyota stated that initially, the main couple was supposed to be similar to Tsuge and Minato, but she felt it was more interesting if the person with the magical powers was the one being pursued.

He doesn’t even use them in service to the company, until his feelings for Kurosawa inspire him to do so. I would still highly recommend this manga and I will most likely continue to reread this series often in the future! This was a pretty cynical note to come from this BL Manga author as an aside, but I did actually chuckle. As someone going through the motions who hasn’t considered what his options really are, just what’s expected of him (and they handle that pretty clearly in the first few pages. If you can’t wait to see more of the story though there is an incredible live action adaptation with amazing writing and really cute actors. There’s a general sort of broishness like this that isn’t necessarily gay/queer/sexual that is all over here, and it’s quite heart-warming in a way. And it wouldn’t matter HOW much he censored it, because there’s no rule that says how much it needs to be censored, it’s up to the censor.

Yeah I was uh, having a moment there, as funny as it was, but long-time listeners will know that Chip really does give me the gears for reading too much into or wanting too much from light entertainment on this podcast. The level to which they are obscured is up to the artists (and how much contempt they have for those laws/what they can get away with).Faye Hopper from Anime News Network stated that while the romance was "cute", there were some concerns over humor regarding Kurosawa's explicit fantasies about Adachi. And the 'emotionally charged pajamas' thing, please, I was screaming, Kurosawa is so delusional (further proof that you have to be a little delusional in this life, take notes). In stead of rejecting him, Kurosawa is just embarrassed for all the truly unhinged things he thought and mostly grateful for the magic for bringing them together.
