Now all you need is our Ultimate Drill in Peg, an electric drill with the free 13 mm adapter attached to get screwing in seconds, Just Watch.

I suffer from Asthma and find it very exhausting hammering the pegs, there are various makes on the market, are any of them any good.

You find them in the tarps section of Bunnings, and make sure you open the box to check the drill bit is included in it.

So much easier that whacking pegs in with a rubber mallet but don’t forget to take your little impact driver or you’ll be scuppered, also take a spare battery for your impact driver because if the battery runs flat you’ll have trouble getting the pegs out of the ground unless you’ve got a spanner that fits. We used these on a gravelled hard standing pitch, they were invaluable because there’s no way we would have been able to get ordinary pegs into the ground. I am disabled and struggle so this is a little gem for me, makes everything easier, recommended by a friend who had suffered from a heart attack and could no longer bang pegs in to the ground but both of us are still caravanning and putting awnings up thanks to these things! Our team of experts is dedicated to staying up-to-date on the latest industry trends and products, ensuring that we always have the right tools and equipment for any project.Ultimate 30 x Camping Drill in Heavy Duty Tent Peg for General, Rock or Hard Ground Tents, Awnings, Gazebo's, Free HSS Adapter Hassle-free, no hammering required, pegs for hard ground. I have some of the blue diamond screw in pegs and they go into rocky ground very easily with either screwdriver or hammer. My stepfather is 87 and has COPD, he too is struggling hammering in pegs and found the screw in type hopeless on some hard standings. Make sure the tents fabric loop is pushed up fully towards the top of the peg before you screw it down. This week we pulled up in a gravel pit roadside rest area, and with the sun blazing down we really wanted our awning and shade screen up on our Caravan, but the ground was too tough for our awning pegs to even dint!

To Securely fasten your tent / awning / whatever into hard standing or normal ground easily in seconds. One pole for each side etc only needed 2 pegs and the corner peg was used for the front pole also and the side bit was brilliant in that the pole could be extended under the van to tighten against the van, if that makes sense? If a drill is out of the question, a speed ratchet would probably do the job, just not quite as fast. This is our first attempt with video, so we apologise for the wind noise and the blurry bits – we’re still learning! The heavy duty plastic can penetrate even hard ground, whilst the clips attach onto the peg and hold your guylines.
