It does smell edible, but it is more like a choclate chip cookie than coffee and I was looking for more of a coffee scent, so I'm pretty disappointed. The coffee note is kinda there, and got slightly better in the dry down, but it was barely detectable on my skin. It is worth noting that the strong coffee notes in this scent make it a bit polarising, and not recommended for those who do not enjoy the scent of fresh java. If you're into coffee fragrances, get this one, as it's truly a great option for any and every budget. Created for current men, with strength and a lot of self-confidence, who come stomping, leaving indelible marks, lovers of the night, and of all the pleasures that it brings .

The drydown is amber heavy, which yet again gives it a sense of airiness and helps it maintain that freshness; and thus the scent doesn't ever really transition into that gourmand territory.There's nothing particularly polarizing or divisive about the scent, so I can't imagine many people thinking it would smell offensive.

The version I just got of Man X Halloween from MicroPerfume smells like it was made for little girls to share with their dollies. I get the cardamom and cinnamon and it's pretty subtle it seems like a watered down version of polo red extreme to me but worth the money. Top notes are Cardamom, Lavender and Lemon; middle notes are Coffee, Whiskey, Cinnamon, Leather and Mineral notes; base notes are Tonka Bean, Amber and Incense. I got caught up in the hype of this product, the description made it sound like the perfect combination of rum, coffee, and whiskey, so how could it not be amazing? I've tried Maison Martin Margiela's coffee break which was way more wearable, although with limited performance and more expensive. It would be interesting to see if some of these cheapies would make a more premium flanker that wouldn't be as harsh but still provide good performance.
