Just checked back on my records (I know I'm an anorak) it looks like you're about right with that ratio.
My 10 yr old diesel car had an "engine malfunction service now" warning every time I started it up and would not run faster than 25mph (limp mode? I Put the recomended 2ml per L into a fresh full tank of diesel and litteraly the noise that my engine normally eminated during the first few miles has dissapeared completely.The long and the short of the problem VW concluded was the poor quality fuel being used in the car caused fuel pump failure. If your car has one of those then you need something the same diameter as a forecourt fuelling nozzle else you can't get the Hydra supplied filling tube into the tank neck. The best he's ever had out it was 32mpg but on a run down to Manchester he got 41mpg - and is a happy bunny.
