Included as part of a bundle with Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: Aquaman: Rage of Atlantis in some editions. Set in the Lego Construction universe and lending a lot from the plot and concept of Lego City Undercover, the movie is a “zero to sort of hero” story. The cast has been carefully crafted to deliver a lot of laughs and no matter what size of screen you watch the DVD on, it’s one of the best factors in the release.

The Lego Movie DVD runs for just over an hour and half and it introduces us to a construction worker (Monkey just loved that idea) Emmet. Mistaken as the 'Special', the only surviving Master Builder, the rather ordinary Emmet (Pratt) is selected to lead a group of figures on a mission to put a stop to Lord Business's evil plan. The DVD and Blu-ray extra features haven’t been officially announced yet, but the details should be out in the not too distant future as we get closer to the home entertainment release date on the 21st July, so we’ll update as soon as they become available. This film emulates the age-old story of finding yourself and gives us the all-important lesson against conformity, with a highly interesting setting thrown into the mix. In 2011, Lego released a TV series titled Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu and Ninjago series achieved popularity. There are plenty of moments where adults can revel in the film’s comedic aptitude and the smart sense of parody.
