Next I fiddled with the internal for an hour or so before finally giving up and breaking out the Dremel and cutting of the piece I have circled and red below.

The raider is good for any combat but excells in close quarters- like clearing out a room or on various 'missions' like capture the flag or rescuing a hostage. more a bout the gun itself, its clip holds 35 stream line dart and this clip IS compatible with the longshot and the recon.

So ive just bought myself a Nerf Raider CS-35, and i thought, hey, you know what, i need MORE POWER.

stars for education for rudementary understanding of firearms, and engineering for the tinkerers who will take it apart. The ratings/reviews displayed here may not be representative of every listing on this page, or of every review for these listings. I have some silicon grease on the way to reduce the friction on the follower rod and the magazine wall. When it's loaded into the Raider, the Raider becomes very left side heavy, and as a result can unbalance you in your first wars with it. the idea is that where the spring is, when the gun is cocked, this bit compresses the spring, making the power. Keep in mind that anyone can view public collections - they may also appear in recommendations and other places.

I bought this blaster for its huge magazine, so I was a bit disappointed when I discovered that it was the very cause of the frequent jams. If you’ve already done that, your item hasn’t arrived, or it’s not as described, you can report that to Etsy by opening a case. My 9 year old son received this for Christmas and it has, surprisingly, proven to be one of his favourite toys. The Raider, unlike the Alpha Trooper which is all go and not much show, is a much better looking blaster.also, ive put some tape around where theblack rubber ring is, this just makes the seal that bit tighter again, making a bit more air pressure. The NERF N-Strike Raider Rapid Fire CS-35 was the first NERF toy gun to have a special 35 foam dart drum shaped magazine, which also cleverly featured a clear section to let the users know when they are getting low on ammunition. this piece, when the gun is cocked, holds the plunger in place, and pressing the trigger lifts it up, which releases a catch, unleasing the spring and sending forth your dart into the world. If you had to choose from those, I'd have to say Raider, since it's the only one of the four that can act as a reasonable primary blaster. im hoping that this was a helpful as i wanted it too be, if you have any questions, or want to just tell me how much you thoroughly enjoyed this instructable, then leave me a comment! Never been interested in the Rampage besides for the 25 drum, and even then I'll never use it except for tacticool.its good for almost all uses: defending, providing covering fire, and, its best use of all…RAIDING of course! This re-release would give it Special Value imagery on it, rather than that seen on the original Bonus Pack. Joey Klusnick on Instagram: "As requested, here’s the Dragon Taxi Mech holding the NERF Raider CS-35 that I built. The Raider Rapid Fire CS-35, later renamed the Raider CS-35, is a clip system Nerf blaster that was released on September 9th, 2009 under the N-Strike series. It's not hard to get used to, as the drum isn't actually that heavy, but it's more the unbalanced nature of the Raider.
