They both provide a great typing experience; however, the K860's keys require a bit more force to actuate, and it might take longer to get used to its split layout. While Logitech's G-line, for gaming, offers a slew of quality gear that has earned rankings on ZDNet's best lists. I added the palm rest but it doesn't attach to the keyboard, it is a secondary "along for the ride" floating accessory. However, it only supports multi-device pairing with two devices simultaneously and doesn't have backlighting.

On the surface, the MX Master 3 looks a lot like its predecessor — don’t worry, there’s nothing drastic here. Even though the keyboard only comes in a Graphite colorway, it does have some splash of style with the matte-textured, two-toned keycaps.

This may be due to minor differences in manufacturing tolerances between units, but this marginal difference wasn't noticeable during testing, and this keyboard provides the same overall ergonomic experience as the previous model.

There are six levels of brightness, and Logitech is using two sensors and a magnetic field to detect when your hands are near. The Logitech G915 LIGHTSPEED is better overall than the Logitech MX Keys, but their differences come down to their uses. The low-profile Logitech MX Mechanical is an extremely worthy example, with a great typing feel, handsome backlighting, and handy shortcuts. And that combination, from my two weeks of use, has made for an exceptionally premium typing experience. But while I found the pairing process very intuitive, it would sometimes take an extra second or two for my MacBook or Android tablet to detect the keyboard and register its inputs. Its scissor switches provide a light typing experience with good tactile feedback, and its indented keys help reduce typos. Like Logitech's previous Unifying receiver, it can control both the keyboard and one of the company's cordless mice.
