I'd even go as far as saying that this to Blackcurrant is like Guerlain's Vetiver to the note, but then again I haven't tried a lot of fragrances where Blackcurrant was the main in the mix and not just a minor note in the accord. If you can get past the slightly rough opening you will get extremely close to how the original Creed Silver Mountain Water smelled in the late 90's. It’s built around a citrussy aroma, which makes it perfect for hot summer months – whether you’re getting ready for a date, heading to the office or going out for drinks with friends. They may also limit the number of times you see an advert as well as help measure the effectiveness of the advertising campaigns. SMW is way more complex and citrussy in its opening and armaf definitely has a synthetic note and is sweeter.

The fragrant melody is completed by soft amber accords, vanilla nuances and woody touches of patchouli intertwined with smoky oud tones. I spray this on the vest I wear beneath my cycling jersey, and even after a 4 hour ride (drenched in sweat) and putting the clothes through the wash, smelling the clean dry vest I can easily still smell Sillage every time. Overall I do enjoy the fragrance and I think I'll just make it my blind reach for if I'm just running out somewhere.The opening note is very synthetic and quite nauseating, but once you survive the opening phase, the dry down is quite delicious and pleasant. you constantly catch whiffs off it which great from a performance point of view but not with this strength and formula.

I find Sillage to be a very smooth blend and lasts 8-10hrs easy with a persistent light sillage at all times. Reading the reviews, I’m partly thinking some people have never tried the OG…because the OG is polarizing too. But this one is way nicer on the dry down, slightly woody without the deep oud and leather smell that CDNIM has.

With just a few spritzes, the scent lingers on the skin for hours, leaving a captivating trail wherever you go. It's also worth mentioning that as per the name (sillage) this fragrance is intended to leave a scent in the room, rather than only being smelt within a couple metres of you. I can't imagine anyone being put off by smelling this on me, and my wife likes it (which isn't the case with a bunch of my other fragrances). Can’t imagine a situation where I’d prefer to smell like this over anything else, so I suppose I’d say it’s mediocre to good depending on personal tastes.

however after about an hour later it becomes great and i stand by my word, a super nice comfort scent that i love to smell on my clothes. Also, not that I really care about a "compliment factor", but this is one of two fragrances I've worn that someone has told After 10 mins or so it transitions into something flowery, which I can't pinpoint exactly- it definetely isn't pure rose, jasmine or iris( some of notes that I enjoy). EIn incredibly quiet white fragrance , which as the name of the original already reveals actually reminiscent of a river in the mountains . When you initially try to pull the bottle out of the packaging by the cap, you only have the cap in your hand.Having only sampled SMW long time ago I struggle to remember the finer nuances, but overall it's close to my memory.

Most of them I give Low rating: Armaf CDNI, Armaf CDN Milestone, Armaf Tres Nuit, Lattafa Fakhar Black, Lattafa Raghbah Wood Intense, Lattafa Asad.The Club De Nuit Sillage is a new addition to the best selling club de nuit series by ARMAF from the House of Sterling. Again like with the Milestone bottle, this flashy, gorgeous bottle is so appropriate for the sensation the scent makes me feel. Best for colder weather (January through March in the northern hemisphere), this is a Creed killer, although we'll wait and see what happens now that Creed has changed hands again. The problem is making it past the opening, and then having to reapply a few hours later and making it past the opening AGAIN. The opening isn’t as synthetic or harsh as I was expecting at all (like CDNIM which is astoundingly strong and lemony then dries down to exactly like Aventus) this is much much more like the real creed at the opening with all the fruity floral notes and then the identical dry down smell.
