About this deal

For one thing, the instruction manual (normally the most unexciting part) actually doubles as a beautiful Atari poster.

The 4 categories are supposed to be similar to those in the original Atari catalogs (Combat Zone, Sports Arena, Classics Corner, Adventure Territory, Skill Gallery). Also note that many, if not most, of the games in these collections are available on many current consoles, PCs and mobile platforms. The control panel no longer has a cheap sticker with the text; instead, all the text is raised and molded into the plastic, including the logo. It is the same as the Flashback 6 with the infrared wireless joysticks, but it adds one more game - Frogger - increasing the total to 101 games. If you are looking for fancy modern and sleek like graphics of today forget it, this is for people who want to re-experience, just as it was, the gaming of their youth. Anyways, I think I have my Flashback in the state that I want and with the games (220 total) I wanted, so I probably won't open it for a while now.

It is easy to set up includes so many games from yesteryear that it does provide lots of hours of fun.Includes 100 games and wireless joysticks and features Atari 2600 HOME and ARCADE Hits: Asteroids, Battlezone, Centipede, Millipede, Missile Command, Super Breakout, Tempest, and Warlords. These are the missing Good Deal Games Homebrew and the Taito games that got removed from the AFB8AE. Everything seems just fine about 50% way through until it's time to start loading the games and then it's "What emulator? This included a set of replica Atari 2600 paddles, five collectible posters, and a copy of the original Atari joystick patent signed by Nolan Bushnell.
