About this deal

Detailed instructions on how to joint paving with our sweep in sand can be found inside the EASYJoint tub. We offer a pallet courier service to UK mainland addresses from Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). We recommend using sufficient water with EASY Joint to turn it into a slurry, it works incredibly well with paving joints of different sizes (minimum 3mm) - View the EASY Joint demonstration video and see how EASY it is to joint a patio using EASY Joint. The end results will be a perfect joint that is fully filled without need for kneeling and compressing the material by hand that will last for years and years. However we can say that its predecessors, earlier derivatives of the current product, have been in use for more than 20 years and where the ground conditions are stable and a good sub-base has been employed, they have stood the test of time - much longer in most instances than a cement alternative.

A strong joint that will resist the elements and stand the test of time - better than traditional jointing methods. Jointology encompasses an integral part of the overall art of Hardscaping, we are all experienced hardscape installers at AZPECTS and we will cover all elements that make up the Hardscaping business with a particular emphasis on proper jointing. However EASYJoint will eventually set and the weather conditions will not have impaired its integrity in any way. It is suitable for all types of paving material provided there is a gap of at least 3mm wide and 20mm deep. The person with the hose should alternate between following the sweeper to aid washing the compound into the joints and moving ahead of them so that the paving is always wet.If sealer is applied after the patio has been laid, do not apply any type of sealer over the joint for at least a month after it has set hard. Yes, you can clean our paving joints with a pressure washer but it must be done cautiously and after the EASY Joint sweep in sand has set hard.

EASYJoint brush in paving grout can be used whatever the conditions are, it’s suitable to be used in wet and rainy weather. These types of slabs have a greater risk of staining, picture framing and efflorescence from the bedding mortar used for the base or specialist joint fillers. This is entirely natural and will not impair the integrity of the product, but does cause discolouration. No it shouldn't if used correctly by following our instructions, however there is always a chance that the Linseed oil will seep into the paving. Unused but opened EASYJoint can be saved for later use by pouring it back into the tub (not in the bag) and covering it with at least 50mm of water. Yes, you can use our jointing compound with porcelain tiles, in fact some specialist suppliers only recommend EASY Joint for jointing them! Whilst not essential, it is strongly recommended to "point" or "strike" the surface of the joints with a suitable finishing tool.

EASYJoint is perfect for patios, paving and paths that only have pedestrian foot traffic, however will not withstand the weight of a car or larger van.Due to the structural requirements of a driveway and that generally, the bedding mix is stronger than that of a patio or path, the use of EASY Joint is not recommended. As well as providing rapid set concrete for backfilling around manhole gullies and frames, which can also be used for surface repairs around street furniture. With no need to mix, this compound is quick to brush in and perfect to use alongside various forms of paving material. EASYJoint results in a strong paving joint that withstands the elements, and lasts for years, what’s more the solid joint eliminates weed growth! Particularly sensitive, porous stone should always be sealed on both sides and all edges as a precaution.

Some concrete paving is made in moulds and has chamfered edges creating a 'V' shaped joint between two paving slabs, wider at the top than at the bottom. We cannot overly stress how important it is to use plenty of water before, during and after the application of EASY Joint. Firstly, it provides better workability to the compound - allowing it to be swept across the paving more freely. Making hard landscaping even easier because the product is best installed in wet conditions - rain or shine, it goes in fine. The paving joint needs to be a minimum of 3mm wide, (what is described as a narrow paving joint) however care should be taken measuring this as with some, chamfered edge 'V' shaped paving, the joints at the bottom edge can be narrower than the top.Again, this will not affect the final integrity of the product in any way provided water can drain easily away and so allow even curing throughout the joints (as previously explained). This product was first developed in 2009 and has now evolved to meet user demands and keep up with the latest trends in the industry. Apply a final gentle spray of water across the surface towash off any EASYJoint residue and to aid the final compaction process.
