As usual, there are several mysteries and they are all equally fascinating and one of the stories (finding redemption through the love for an animal) really touched me. The majority of pages are undamaged with some creasing or tearing, and pencil underlining of text, but this is minimal. The elements that drew me to this series are still there – strong sense of place (Northumberland) and well-written main characters (especially the relationship between Ryan and Frank) – but this story lacked focus as the team were all engaged in different directions.
