About this deal

These stories previously appeared as Bunny vs Monkey 1: Let the Mayhem Begin and Bunny vs Monkey 2: Journey to the Centre of the Eurg-th. Fast-paced, freewheeling and very funny, the first two volumes of Smart's wildly popular graphic series are collected in this unmissable book, which chronicles the chaos that ensues when Monkey crash-lands in the woods. About the Author: Jamie Smart studied art at college for four years, but it was just an excuse to practise drawing animals with boggly-eyes. Bunny and his friends Weenie the Squirrel, Pig (the pig), Action Beaver and Skunky the Inventor lived a peaceful life in the forest - until Monkey’s rocket crash-landed and he decided to take over! Thrumpton Primary Wishlist: Please select free collection at checkout and we will deliver to the school.

But as an adult reader I grew tired of the negative and sometimes insensitive jokes (like being dropped on your head too many times). Monkey still decides he is going to be a pain the bum and make life interesting and semi-miserable for Bunny and friends. Along with a colourful cast of characters such as Pig, Weenie the Squirrel and Skunk and my personal favourite – Le Fox – this graphic novel is chock full of silliness and I, for one, salute the silliness. This brand new remastered book collects together Bunny vs Monkey 1: Let the Mayhem Begin and Bunny vs Monkey 2: Journey to the Centre of the Eurg-th for the first time.Having watched the author on a live stream I'm sure this is intentional for what are ultimately children's comic books.

We are experiencing delays with deliveries to many countries, but in most cases local services have now resumed.

For more details, please consult the latest information provided by Royal Mail's International Incident Bulletin. Full of beautiful punchy artwork that children love and featuring more hilarious japes from the fight between good and evil! Join bestselling comics sensation Jamie Smart for this hilarious collection of stories, available in a new chunky format! Of course, then you get to know them and realise they're possibly a bit more on the naughty side, but that's something you'll have to discover for yourself. No doubt the pupils who suggested it will try to convince me otherwise but I can safely say I won't be reading any more of this series!

Jamie's characters Space Raoul, My Own Genie, Count Von Poo and Fish-Head Steve have all found homes in the pages of The Sunday Times, The Dandy, Toxic comic and The DFC respectively. While I can see it being entertaining, the slight of making the bunny scream like a girl was really offensive, and there are a lot of different, more creative and funny insults that could have been used. I've been a fan of Jamie Smart's books for a number of years so when I heard of his kids book Bunny Vs Monkey I didn't hesitate to get it for my 7 year old daughter.
