Animals, plants, castles, flowers, secrets this book holds it all and I am so glad it is part of my colouring book collection, I have been working on nothing but this book for two weeks now as I just love it! It would be a great shame if you’ve spent hours and hours and hours colouring in to perfection, to then have your colours fade after a few months on the wall. Sometimes I like to flick through and imagine the childhood she’s often spoken of, playing in castle gardens where her Grandfather worked. I found that the illustrations are ideal for testing out colour schemes and techniques ready for doing my ‘best’ version in my copy of Enchanted Forest but this is also a great stand-alone journal.

Printed on ivory paper with lay-flat binding allowing for a smooth and seamless colouring experience. In the regular book, the compass and knocker were not the most inspiring to me, but blown up they look beautiful. As well as drawings to complete, color, and embellish, there are hidden objects to be found along the way.

This would make a gorgeous present for your granddaughter, daughter, or for yourself, and I'm really surprised by how much I'm thoroughly enjoying colouring in these beautiful pages. The books (unlike the calendar books), have sturdy pages that hold up to heavier coloring pencil applications, markers and pens, and light moistening.
