I’ve been getting by on the size requirement with my clone of the Guild Paloma SC3 however that too is an electro-acoustic with a solid body and it’s a nylon string guitar to boot so it really wants to be amped. I have the Nova Go SP1 (with built-in effects), and I really like it, so comfortable to play in the couch, keeps the tuning, and nice sound. Inside the guitar's body, a small actuator acts as a speaker to produce the effects, amplified from the guitar body itself. The radius fretboard ensures easy navigation across the frets, while the round-edged body provides a comfortable grip for prolonged playing sessions. At any rate I've never seen any agreement as to what measurements qualifies a guitar as 1/2 size or 1/4 size.

But those 1st gen Nova Go cases were quite nice, with a surprising amount of under-the-neck storage considering the overall size of the guitar/case. So going from the Go to the Go Mini the depth has been increased about an inch from 2 7/8" to 3 4/5". I did change the saddle, mine came with a bone saddle that was not intonated and when I changed it I stayed with bone but used a blank that I filed and intonated myself.As an added bonus, I won’t flinch if I happen to knock it against the coffee table or put it down on top of my headphones, which totally did not happen! Meanwhile, we’ve put a truss rod into the neck, giving your more adjustability for the string action, even though the factory setup is already optimum. Can you let me know what saddle you bought and was it able to be just dropped in without sanding the bottom. So I am thinking of picking up the Acoustic Nova go as I live in Florida and a hot humid summer is around the corner. Now if Enya ever brings the AI version of the Nova Go to North America or Europe I would upgrade to that model but otherwise, I’m happy.
