The riding experience is just what I want from an ebike, which is to say that it feels like riding a bicycle, but with the Electric Hand of God pushing you along. Admittedly it's not a very strong Hand of God, since it will only get you up to 15.5mph/25kph, but the Impel im-2's acceleration is brisk and doesn't falter on hills –or what passes for hills in central London, at any rate. For the battery, this hybrid e-bike uses a semi-integrated Suntour STL battery in the downtube of the bike with a capacity of 417Wh/11.58Ah and a range of 60 miles. This battery is key removable for safety. So you've proven your charger isn't at fault and its connecting lead is fine. Halfords confirmed that too by substituting a different charger. So it's definitely a battery fault, but not a common fault that the BMS would normally report through oddly lit LED's.
