History of injuries: If you have a history of foot, ankle, or lower leg injuries, you may need additional support that barefoot shoes might not provide. Indoors this is fine, but it can be a bit of an issue in the depths of winter. This is why all-weather barefoot shoes are a good shout for wintertime. Versatility These are not your typical training shoes. It’s hard to compare them to popular trainers because they’re just so different, and the intent is different. INSOLE: Not a removable insole. I probably should have known this before buying, but I was bummed to not be able to inspect the toe-heel offset more closely.

The whole upper of this shoe is made from recycled materials, including recycled plastic (rPET). Xero says it’s one of the first barefoot shoes made with the environment in mind. Zelen is actually a Czech word that means ‘ green’. And Czech is where Xero’s European HQ is. Another nice perk of these models and their insoles is that the internal construction of the shoe is also finished. So, if you like to remove the insole and wear your shoes or train, you don’t have to worry about that awkward thread-like material that some shoes have when removing their insoles. Xero Shoes 360 Vs Xero Shoes Prio Vs Xero Shoes HFS Durability The original Prio is a great all-round barefoot shoe, but the Prio Neo is targeted primarily at performance training and ‘athleisure’. While some enjoy the look of the 360, I think it can look a little clunky and dated and isn’t the best for more formal daily wear. If you just plan to wear them to run errands, for walking, or around the house, then you’ll enjoy what the 360 has to offer. Xero Shoes 360 Sizing

As seen on

If you’ve never worn barefoot shoes before, take your time easing into these (can’t emphasize this enough). The minimalist design and wide toe box promote natural foot motion and toe splay, which can enhance proprioception and how your brain is receiving the messages from your feet. After all, humans evolved to exist without attaching shoes to our feet, so it makes sense to go barefoot and get this sensation more often. Lightweight and breathable Across the board, if you’re training with a versatile focus, then I’d suggest going with the Xero Shoes 360. The other models will work for this style of training, however, they’re not optimized for it. The Prio can feel a bit chunky at times and the HFS’s lighter upper will not last as long as the 360’s re-worked upper. For the Xero Shoes HFS, its construction does a good job at lasting a while when it’s used for lifting and running. One thing to note, if you’re running outside, I’d suggest avoiding puddles to ensure the upper last longer. Xero Shoes 360 Vs Xero Shoes Prio Vs Xero Shoes HFS Sizing

The Xero Shoes Zelen is primarily a running shoe as opposed to a gym training shoe. This is because of its sleek and slender construction. That said, it’s versatile enough to suit a cross-training-style workout. It all comes down to personal preference here. The Prio Neo minimalist shoe from Xero Shoes takes the original Prio to the next level. And that’s high praise, because the original is pretty legendary in itself and is Xero’s best-selling shoe. One of the perks with barefoot shoes is that for the most part, they all perform consistently well in lifting settings. The Xero Shoes 360, Prio, and HFS are all awesome for resistance training and barbell lifts like deadlifts. All of these models feature removable insoles which are awesome for allowing you to get even closer to the ground in your lifts.Individuals with specific foot conditions or those who require more support or cushioning might not benefit from wearing barefoot shoes. Factors that need to be considered include: They are much better suited to the task of hiking than their Prio counterpart. The Prio is a very comfortable minimalist shoe that is great for walking around or lifting weights… but the Xero 360 is the better version. The Primus Lite III is the latest iteration of the popular Primus Lite series from Vivobarefoot. Since the last shoe, Vivobarefoot have made key upgrades to make the Primus Lite III even lighter and more comfortable than previous versions. Incredibly comfortable shoes! I originally got these for CrossFit workouts, but these have been upgraded to my new everyday wear shoes also! I bought these and the new HFS2’s and like these 360s WAY more. These remind me a lot of the original HFS shoes but more durable. I got the sage colour and they look awesome too. Great shoe!

Xero is a minimalist shoe brand that makes zero-drop shoes with wide toe boxes to allow for natural foot positioning and movement. The brand has tons of barefoot shoe options for walking, running, hiking, lifting weights, cross-training, and even water sports.Experience the latest evolution in barefoot shoes from Inov-8 with their Bare-XF 210 V3. As the third generation of the original Bare-XF 210, this version is the best one to date. The Xero Shoes 360, Prio, and HFS all feature removable insoles. The insoles used have a thin level of responsiveness and do a fairly good job at providing an additional layer of comfort for anyone experimenting with and acclimating to barefoot shoes.

There’s also a thin rope grip on the outsole for as much durability as a barefoot shoe can give you. Finally, I like the internal straps (on the underside of the mesh upper), which act like flywire to wrap the foot when laced. Xero 360 Shoes Colorways and DesignRunning is usually where people struggle with the transition to barefoot shoes. I’ve been working up to running barefoot for about a year, so running in the Xero shoes 360 was fine for me. If this is your first pair of minimalist shoes, start slow. These would really make great shoes for trail running, in addition to road running, once you work up to it. Xero 360 Shoes Construction and Materials
