Accreditation by Attitude is Everything means that the course provides students with the level and depth of theory and knowledge required by access practitioners in the event industry both in the UK and internationally. My vision is that disabled people have chances and for the creative industries to give opportunities that my generation never had.Whilst we’re a lot further down the line to achieving this, we won’t be there yet until disabled people can: When trying to adjust your attitude to one that will lend itself to success, it is critical to examine the people you surround yourself with. Using the same guidelines you would use to examine your own attitude, examine theirs. How do they respond to negative situations? How do they respond to positive ones? What is their verbal language and body language communicating? To some degree, most people are like water in that they take the shape of whatever environment they are placed in. If you associate with people who have poor, self-defeating attitudes, maintaining a positive attitude is going to be an overwhelming challenge. On the other hand, if you associate with inspirational people who reflect positivity, your own attitude is going to flourish. Please enter the exact wording of the commitment/s, including details of others who has supported its development (75 words limit):

By end March 2020 - we will aim to develop an accessible touring network in grassroots music venues and by March 2022 we aim to develop an accessible touring network in arts centres While it is true that some people do have attributes and opportunities that make finding success easier for them, it is also true that the world is full of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. My career history is as eclectic as my taste inmusic andhas taken me from Wellness Management in hospitality to Wellbeing Advisor for the NHS, focusing on community outreach and Mental Health First Aid provision for the community and charity sector. Advocacyand inclusion havealways been a passion of mine, serving as Co-Chair of the LGBTQ+ Pride Committee for CNWL NHS Trust, with a focus on intersectionality. I manage the Live Events Access Charter venues, festivals, and projects. I’m passionate about engaging with organisations and sharing the joy of inclusion.

We believed (and still do) that comprehensive and targeted action on these areas will result in greater inclusion at live music events, and enable event organisers to better serve their disabled customers. Awarded additional funding from Arts Council England for our ‘Next Stage’ programme for disabled artists. Our survey found that, despite progress being made, a range of barriers still existed. Of more than 300 respondents: Yet, the years preceding this event marked some of the toughest challenges in Attitude is Everything’s history, for our disabled beneficiaries and everyone in music and live events. Live events shut down overnight and many of our sector colleagues were furloughed or made redundant. People were isolated at home.

Attitude is Everything is recognised around the world by the live event and festival industries and academia for its work in helping events and festivals be accessible for everyone.
