Get alerts on your smartphone whenever motion is detected, or customise motion detection zones so you can see what matters most. The Blink Outdoor 4 snaps into the front of the accessory; a small USB cable connects the camera to the Floodlight. Both the lights and the camera can be adjusted to cover the area you need. The Outdoor Floodlight is powered by four D-cell batteries, which Blink says will last for up to two years. Blink Outdoor 4 is powered by Blink’s custom-designed third-generation silicon, which enables advanced, dual zone motion detection—providing broader coverage so customers can catch events earlier. Customers can also clearly define what alerts they receive, and from where on their property with enhanced motion detection that helps reduce the number of false alerts and provides greater motion accuracy. All image processing takes place locally, on-device, with just two AA batteries providing up to two years of battery life. Customers can save and share video clips conveniently in the cloud with an optional Blink cloud subscription, and can also store and share clips locally when using a Blink Sync Module by inserting a USB drive (sold separately). On paper, both cameras have the same picture and video resolutions of 640 x 360 and 1080p, respectively. However, Blink's Outdoor 4 camera has a wider field of view, and the “best image quality yet” thanks to improved low-light performance and clarity according to Blink.Blink’s cameras all have temperature sensors built in; it’s one feature not found on most of the competition. What’s nice is that you can set alerts if the temperature goes above or below a certain threshold; it’s handy if you want to monitor a room or area that can’t get too hot or too cold.

Works with Alexa: pair Blink Mini with a supported Alexa-enabled device to engage live view, arm and disarm your camera, and more, using your voice. The heart of a Blink camera system is the Sync Module.
