About this deal

Release the bin lid by pressing the catch as shown, shake all of the dust out into your dustbin. The container may be washed with warm water but please ensure it is thoroughly dry before re fitting. Overall, a great ash vacuum for a pellet stove. Great price, good suction, compact body, no complaints at all. Can It Take Hot Ashes

To open the box so that it can be emptied and to also clean the hepa filter twist the lid until the 2 arrows line up, then the lid will come off. Overall: The best ash vacuum cleaner you can buy in the UK, it comes at a higher price but when you factor in it doubles as a regular vacuum you’re on to a winner. Thank you for confirming your products are made and regulated according to European standards. It does not take away the fact that a brittle plastic has been used for storage drawers and the top of the freezer which makes for a cheapened appearance. The whole thing is nice and lightweight so lugging it out the cupboard is easy. Yet the suction is powerful and the HEPA filter allows for effective clean up with no fine dust getting sprayed around your room. Compared to the Karher or the Deville it doesn’t quite hold up, they have better filtration systems and more capacity but for the price I’m impressed. If you need to clean ash from a wood-burning stove this is the vacuum for you. It’s got a large capacity at 20 litres so you won’t have to continuously empty it and it’s got an overheat prevention mechanism in the engine so even if the ash isn’t as cold as you thought it won’t heat up and break the motor.Start by removing and emptying the dust box. Press the release button at the top of the dust container and take to your dustbin or a bin bag. Press the catch at the top and the flap at the bottom will open releasing the dust. Shake the container to remove all of the dust inside. This is a nifty little ash vacuum, it’s cheap and with that comes a price of how good it is so you might find the filter tends to slip off and you need to take some extra care, and you’ll need to wash the filter more often. I also liked that it’s got an indicator that tells you when the filter is clogging, once it’s 100% covered a light turns red that lets you know it’s time to empty and clean the filter.

Lift the filter off and dust outor wash in warm water to get it really clean. The cyclone unit inside the dust box can be removed by pulling it out with the lifting hook and can be washed out under some warm water. They are just big metal canisters made with more durable and heat resistant motors and metal lined hoses. The ash gets put in the canister then the air that has to escape goes through one or two filters to get rid of any small dust particles before fresh air is expelled out the exhaust. The second filter is found in the lid of the duct container. First remove the container from the product by lifting the release catch on top as shown here. Pellet stoves can create a lot of ash so you need a good quality vacuum to help you deal with it and clean it out. As with all ash vacuums they are only designed for cold ash, the next day when you’re getting ready to light the fire again. And compared to the Karcher of the De Ville above this is about half the price, which for me is a big plus, but it depends how much you value convenience, if you wanted the convenience then either of those will also work great for a pellet stove. But if you’re only looking at occasional use, or you don’t mind the extra hassle it does a great job with the vacuuming itself. A nice wide 1.2 m long hose to reach right in any wood burner, stove, charcoal grill or whatever other ash you’re vacuuming out. I found for my wood burner the wheels don’t add much as I carry it inside from the shed. But they do stop the floor getting scratched if I accidentally yank the hose so I suppose that’s a plus. Both these filters can be dusted clean or washed in warm water, if you do wash them please make sure that they are dried thoroughly before re fitting them. Clean the blue fibre filter and the spongy bit.

bash it against a wall before you take it inside too to get the worst of it off before you trail it through the house. The cyclonic unit can be lifted out of the container as shown and cleaned by immersing in warm water along with the container. Make sure everything is dry before re assembling. To keep your cleaner working effectively and producing the best possible suction it is important to regularly empty the dust container and keep the filters clean. Toempty the container start by removing the dust container by pressing the release button on top of the product as shown. The PowerSonic HT108 is a powerful, bagless upright vacuum cleaner ideal for home use. With a range of selected tools, large bin capacity and powerful suction the Powersonic bagless vacuum is extremely versatile and easy to use. I’m afraid not, neither shop vacuums or household vacuum cleaners are up to the job of vacuuming up ash which involves big chunks and small dust particles at the same time. Not to mention residual heat.

Suitability - The Powersonic Upright Vacuum Cleaner is suitable for vacuuming dry dust, dirt and debris. It's effective on hard floors (hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile) and different pile carpets. The floor head can be adjusted depending on the carpet length. There are five tiered options. I was then told that if the machine wasn't repaired within 28 I could get a code for a replacement machine. To keep your cleaner working efficiently and give maximum suction power we recommend you regularly clean the filters. This will also prevent it from overheating or cutting out. There are 2 filters on your product, the first one is found behind the bag. Open the dust box by pressing the catch at the centre of the bag cover and take out the bag. If your bag is more than 2/3 full it’s a good idea to throw it away and pop a new one in. Remove the filter for cleaning. This can be done with a brush or the filter unit can be washed in warm water. Please make sure that it thoroughly dry before re fitting it to the cleaner. Plus it’s got the all-important filter system to catch all the ash particles before keeping the air clean, and an exhaust filter system so that any fine dust that passes through the first filter will get caught in the second.Needless to say 28 days came round and the machine hasn't been fixed. So I rang to get a code only to be told that this could take up to another 5 days. For a code really !!!!!! Press the button as shown to release the container from the cleaner. Start by emptying it into your dustbin. Once again the Appliance Hunter has been out scouring the lands, this time going through fields of ash trying to find the best ash vacuum cleaner.
