The Groundbreaker meter box is manufactured from 90% recycled polypropylene by an injection moulding process and designed to fit on the outside wall of the building. Compliant with ‘Secure by Design’ criteria, Building Regulations Part M and Radon alleviation designs and within PPG3 Planning Guidelines, fixing on the surface of the wall. The guard tube, also known as a riser has a 150mm diameter and is 750mm in length, which can be cut to size. The hinged cast iron cover is stamped with ‘Water’ and has a 5 ton rating. Stoptap chambers are designed to give access to your stop tap valve underground to cut off the flow in 20mm, 25mm, or 32mm MDPE water pipes. The stop tap for the chamber is sold separately. Tested to the following industry standards: ISO 17885 for Water Applications, BS5114, ISO 7/1, BS 21, WRAS Approved. Polyacetal split rings and NBR o-rings, suitable for water, are supplied as standard. CPVC split rings and EPDM or FPM o-rings and seals are available on request. Whilst we will make every effort to deliver your goods within the stated/requested time frame, we cannot guarantee availability from the manufacturer or the manufacturer's delivery schedules, so we would recommend not to start/schedule any work until the goods arrive. Due to logistics of various couriers and suppliers we are unable to give times of deliveries. It is important to note that a large amount of the settable solids are present in the network during construction and this is mainly due to the silt/grit present in construction runoff. To account for this, the following inspection and maintenance guidelines are recommended:

The HydroChamber is an arched chamber attenuation system designed specifically for building underground storage tanks for stormwater runoff in attenuation and soak away applications. Installation is by drilling and fixing to outside wall and connections are made by compression and threaded for water meter. Sometimes goods can be delivered in multiple deliveries, this is due to some items coming direct from suppliers or our own yard. If this is the case, multiple charges will be combined at the basket. If large amounts of silt present, additional catchpit manholes with 90 degree bends may be required Adjust head to ensure lid will suit finish ground level. Ensure the frost protection foam is fitted inside.

Best management practices should be maintained to ensure a clean network at all times. Sinkable solids and floatable contaminants should be prevented where possible from entering the unit by means of a dedicated silt trap(s) and/or sumped catchpit manhole (s) upstream thus preventing potential problems.
