Kaito and his comrades basically aim to torture their enemies so thoroughly that they will never recover, remaining broken even after they reincarnate. Pet the Dog: After Minaris helps a little girl win a rigged carnival game where the prize is a healing potion said little girl needs for her mother, Shiura escorts the little girl home, in case the carnies try to get revenge for their loss. The carnies did and paid dearly for it.He will not rape or take advantage of a woman, sexually, in any way, not even for revenge targets. Informed consent is critically important to him. Then, the story starts a-new. Our hero knows well who his real enemies are, and he knows who his real friends are - being given a second chance by the gods as they expected that, going by “their statistics”, that most summoned people need a second chance as they are often screwed over by those summoning them. With this second chance... our hero VOWS to make every person/thing that messed with him, regret that they ever even met him. Along his early journey, he meets another young lady who’s also been betrayed by everyone she’s ever known, and so he makes a contract with her to seek vengeance on all those who ever hurt them.
Yumis, who betrayed Kaito and her half-sisters for the love of her parents and her maid, ends up a victim of Revenge by Proxy before getting slain by the ones she betrayed. Everything is NOT better with princesses like Alesia, who can string an adventurer around her finger for three years after gleefully murdering his family with sacrificial magic.
