The Speed Mob isn’t part of 10th edition 40k yet, but we’ve never seen a more likely candidate for being converted to a new Detachment. Of all the races I have battled throughout the galaxy, the Ork is the hardest to comprehend. They wage war with machines that should not work, care little for strategic gains, and are just as likely to slaughter each other as the enemy. How does one battle an enemy that defies all logic?"

explode’ essentially translates to ‘An unmodified 6 to Hit does an additional hit’, so read that as ‘Does 2 Hits instead of 1’. Per the Core Rules, anything that might also happen on a 6 to hit (such as auto-wounding) does not apply to the additional hit, only the original. All CHARACTERS can have these ones. BEAST SNAGGAS and SPEED FREEKS have their own mini tables, but can still take these normal ones if they wish. Within the Telon Reach was an Ork empire that rivalled that centred on Ullanor, and at its heart was the scrap world of Gorro. The Ork tech-caste, the Mekboyz, dominated the Orks of Gorro and had made the world their own. None of these barring the Gitbonez can be taken by a VEHICLE , meaning your Wartrike will be limited to his base wargear or any Kultur specific Relics.Meks are known to use their own, confusing lingo that cannot be understood by anyone except other Mekboyz. Common terms include, but are not limited to: Urlakk was simply no match for the Primarch's skill and unnatural power. First crippling his enemy, Horus hefted Urlakk's broken body out onto the roof of the Greenskins' palace and threw it screaming from the battlements to fall far below amongst the horde of Orks still assaulting the lower levels. In these clamourous and noisome environments, Mekboyz and their assistants churn out the countless Shootas, Sluggas, Stikkbombz, bits of armour, and other wargear required to feed the ravenous Ork war machine. Mekboyz are also constantly tinkering with and "kustomizin'" their wargear, and that of other Orks, to improve its performance. Mekboyz also create kustom weapons and vehicles for warbosses, Nobz, and any Boy with enough teef to pay for their services. Some Mekboyz even exhibit a strong inclination toward invention, and from these demented minds have sprung some of the most terrifying and dangerous war machines (both to their enemies and their users) that the galaxy has ever seen.

All Orks belong to a tribe, but most also belong to a clan or "klan" -- a permanent social grouping of like-minded fighters often marked out by the colours and crude Ork glyphs they display on their bodies and vehicles. The Emperor worked to collapse the self-sustaining plasma sphere that powered much of the world's scavenged Ork technology and that contained a Warp-fold envelope, so that Gorro would implode into the Warp. Any of the rules discussed below apply only to ORKS models with the same Keyword , so no overlapping or crossing of Auras (no GOFFS Auras or powers affecting EVIL SUNZ units, for example). There are occasional exceptions that will affect all ORKS units, these will be called out. Deep Strike’ essentially means the unit can be placed into Reinforcements and arrive more than 9” away from enemy units. Though the bigger, meaner Ork Boyz will lord it over the smaller, ganglier ones, even a subservient Ork is of limited use when it comes to practical tasks that do not involve fighting.

Specialist Detachments

Some weapons have ‘Blast’ listed in their profile’s abilities. These are referred to as Blast weapons. In addition to the normal rules, the following rules apply to Blast weapons: Those who have studied Ork settlements (and survived) have observed that Ork civilisation is hierarchical in the extreme.
