It couldn’t be easier to use. Place the supplied stainless-steel milk jug on the drip tray with the wand in place, fill it with milk, select how hot and frothy you’d like the milk to be from the buttons on the top. The Creatista Uno does the rest. Once done, you can pour as much or as little as you want, and the perfect microfoam means that you’re free to make cappuccinos and lattes as you prefer them, or try your hand at creating latte art. While this functionality takes its lead from the original Creatista machine, a simple selection of buttons makes it easier to use. I have the Sage Barista Express Impress Coffee Machine at home and pretty much rely on the red float marker that alerts you when it's time to clean the drip tray. This machine has the same feature which is great if you're a bit forgetful when it comes to cleaning. How does it compare to other coffee machines? This machine is certainly an investment, but if you’re a coffee aficionado, we think it’s worth the price. You can make excellent espresso plus delicious lattes and cappuccinos with this model, and it gives you plenty of options regarding the brew.

There are some minor annoyances. There’s no empty tank indicator – instead the coffee button lights go out, which initially left us puzzling as to what might be wrong. It’s also quite noisy when brewing, which is surprising for a pod machine. Nespresso Creatista Uno: Cleaning and maintenance This small feature ensures the exact temperature and pressure are achieved during extraction of espresso. In terms of milk frothing, the Creatista Pro uses its advanced microfoam technology to produce the best milk quality out of the Creatista line. It has the same amount of milk texture and milk temperature settings as the Creatista Plus but has up to 7 brewing sizes. Ease of Use If you’re selecting a milk-based coffee, then fill the supplied aluminium jug with milk to the minimum or maximum level, place it under the steaming wand while making sure to position the jug over the little plastic sensor, which slightly resembles a nipple. Now select your preferred milky mixture – cappuccino, flat white, latte or latte macchiato – and the machine will start operating at both ends, extracting the coffee while the wand does its swooshy frothing thing. When finished, simply pour the hot, frothy milk from the jug into your coffee cup and, well, that’s it. In such a situation, the first step is to test the conductivity of the heating element and replace it if there is no current.

The compact footprint makes this a great professional-style machine for a smaller kitchen – it measures W19.5 x D32 x H31cm. Made from stainless steel it looks the part, too. Like other Sage coffee machines it’s ready to roll in a flash (if one of those lasts 3 seconds). It comes with a stainless-steel milk jug, too. It depends on the hardness of your water and how much coffee you make. Don’t worry, the machine will alert you when it is time to descale. The Creatista Plus comes with a 480 ml stainless steel jug, as well as a complimentary welcome set of 16 different Nespresso coffee capsules with varying flavor and aromatic profiles. The Sage Nespresso Creatista Uno is the entry-level product in the Creatista line. This means that it’s the cheapest out of the three but still does an excellent job at brewing beverages: DesignIf you’re a big fan of frothy hot chocolate and babyccinos, then you’ll be glad to hear that you don’t have to brew coffee to use the milk frother. In fact, the only thing you need to do is wipe the wand once you’ve removed it from the jug. It then automatically cleans itself, ejecting leftover milk and steam into the drip tray. It does splash a little over the kitchen surface, but not too much.
