Description

I was using my King Kong 2 pro controller on PC and just today I connected to my Xbox to test if the wingman is banned with the new Fortnite update because they banned Cronus Maxx's. (Fyi not banned)

When it comes to features, the King Kong Pro 2 is an embarrassment of riches. We’re talking motion controls, rumble support, wireless, amiibo support, and the controller can wake up the Switch from sleep mode with the press of the home button. There’s nothing a Pro Controller can do that the King Kong Pro can’t, which could be the first time a third-party controller has had complete parity with the official Nintendo product. Right? PC gamers have the luxury of using Macros. Now Nintendo Switch will be the only console with the ability to utilize macros with this controller. Not only that, but you can save the Macros files to your PC and swap them out for different games.. that way you dont have to try to reprogram the macro your self every single time However, all of these calibrations can be intimidating since they require a number of button presses that might not seep into one’s memory from the get-go. They are explained in the user manual but having a dedicated app to tune those settings would have enhanced the user experience and the overall user-friendliness of the KingKong 2 Pro.

GuliKit King Kong Pro 2 controller review

It is also versatile in that it supports both wired and wireless gameplay, a feature that even pricier counterparts don’t include. Its integrated 1000 mAh battery will also last for several dozens of hours which help provide some peace of mind to the user.

It most definitely DOES have analog triggers. Works for PC and Android even though the switch doesn't utilize the analog triggers. Minus the HD Rumble, this controller does EVERYTHING else that the Switch Pro Controller do but MORE. It has the autopilot memory AND it brings motion control aiming to PC and Android for the first time ever. 8Bitdo is great, but if you haven't tried this controller, don't make assumptions about it. So other than me probably charging this to experience, I'm just thinking of putting this out there as a warning for other people who are thinking about getting this same controller. The Switch features are unique to the GuliKit KingKong 2 Pro model with many features found on the original controller including waking up the console from controller, built-in NFC support for Amiibo and adjustable Turbo setups.

Please Note

The new buttons are no longer membrane buttons, they are mechanical switches. I'm really excited to see how these will feel and perform A: Applying lubricating oil to the buttons (including inside the springs for buttons) can make them smoother and more durable. The rear buttons on the gamesir are very comfortable to press, regardless of how you grip the controller. First of all, input lag/polling rate. I'd argue anything under 10ms is completely fine even for competitive play; as it shouldn't ever miss an input. However, lower is still better, at least for peace of mind, especially if you play FPS games.
