We all know that fire pits are commonplace within thousands of gardens throughout the UK but what about taking one with you when you venture a little further afield. Since the fire pit is going to be exposed to extreme heat, you must make sure that it is made from robust materials that won’t warp from the flames. In short, the fire pit should be made from metal but the type of metals you will see will vary from product to product. If you have a large group or family to cater to you may even find that you’re better off having two smaller portable fire pits than one large one, especially if you are camping away from the car.
