Only rotary shavers are noticeably quieter, but those aren’t really a viable alternative to the FOILFX02 and its intended use. I just don’t want to take any risk of damaging them. If you do want to clean the cutters with the brush, make sure to be very gentle and only brush with the direction of the blades, never across them (longitudinally).

This gives it a premium look and feel and sets it apart from the other two similar shavers mentioned above. I think the choice should be between the Panasonic shavers or the BaBylissPRO. I think the latter has a slight advantage when it comes to the closeness of a dry shave and the fantastic battery life, but for everything else (comfort, versatility, speed, wet/dry use), the Panasonic shavers have the edge.
