About this deal

Treatment of vitamin D deficiency: 1-4 capsules (1 000- 4 000 IU) daily for 10 weeks dependent upon the severity of the disease and the patient's response to treatment, followed by maintenance therapy of 1-2 capsules (1 000- 2 000 IU) daily, as directed by your doctor. Allowances should be made for vitamin D supplements, other vitamin D containing medicines or from other sources. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines. This includes any medicines which you have bought without a prescription. Colecalciferol and its metabolites are excreted in breast milk. Overdose in infants induced by nursing mothers has not been observed but allowance for any maternal dose should be made when prescribing vitamin D products to a breast-fed child. After a single oral dose of Colecalciferol, the maximum serum concentrations of the primary storage form are reached after approximately 7 days. 25(OH)D 3 is then slowly eliminated with an apparent half-life in serum of about 50 days. Colecalciferol and its metabolites are excreted mainly in the bile and faeces.

Valupak Vitamin D 3 is suitable for vegetarians but is not suitable for vegans since D 3 contains lanolin. Who Should Get Medical Advice Before Using Valupak Vitamin D 3? Deficiency of vitamin D may occur when your diet or lifestyle does not provide you with enough vitamin D or when your body requires more vitamin D (for instance when you are pregnant). Although most other medications are safe to take with Valupak Vitamin D 3, it is always best to seek advice from your doctor before beginning to take this supplement. If you take any kind of steroid medication you should avoid Valupak Vitamin D 3 as it can interfere with the processes.
