Braxton teaches him what patience is and after a few more tantrums and a few more games, he too discovers the way to the Promised Land between her legs. I loved her more than anything else in this book. She was always different, and had to become a fighter from a very young age, just because she was probably in the wrong family, and with so many peculiarities, that a closed minded person, could not accept or fully understand her. then comes the gauntlet they make her walk through everyday to prove herself. Their close proximity on the bus, tours, concerts nonstop gets them exposing too much to each other than they'd wanted to begin with. This breeds envy, sometimes resentment, jealousy, and of course Breathless passions. Meet the gorgeous men which make up the band 'BOUND' Loren (fun loving and sweet), Jericho (the one you could lean on) & Houston (broody and controlling) and our feisty sassy heroine Braxton, who you will absolutely adore. The hunt had been on for a new band member to join the ranks, with a name of Braxton imagine these boys surprise when a girl walks in claiming her place in the band as their newly appointed guitarist. B.B. Reid was amazing at describing the scenes and tour life in a way that you actually feel like you are touring with the band. We get multiple points of views from our main characters and I loved seeing their growth throughout the year or so that this book takes place. One good thing I have to say - at the end of the book it really seems like love and that everyone lives forever happy, but the road there was so exhausting that I was already completely tired of reading Revision Col 3 Collins at Home | Support for schools Home tutors Letts Revision Collins4Parents Collins Book Sale Revision for students I have to say the first half of the book I was thinking this is a 5⭐️ read, it did drop off for me at about the 70% mark. Also I liked the male POV, which I almost NEVER do. Even though there were four POVs in this book they all felt dissimilar enough from each other that I wasn't put off.

Lilac — B.B. Reid

Together they formed a pyramid." Told in multiple POV, Lilac is a true contemporary romance with the intricacies of a complex quartet. The book was long and yet, I feel that the story called for depth and the devil is in the details with this read. The story is sweet and yet the four together have a passion that does not stop! "Braxton looked like an angel, but she played like a demon." Overall, I can't say I am a huge fan of RH books but I can say that B.B. Reid certainly kept me entertained the entire read. This was my first read by this author (I know right?!?!?) and I look forward to exploring more of her work!Pay settlements in recent years have been low. It is many years since staff in schools, further education or higher education received a pay increase which was equal to the rate of inflation. Falling pay Starting Lilac I was really curious about the type of dynamic the characters were going to have towards one another. I haven't read many reverse-harems but I know authors all have their own unique way of taking on this trope so I was very intrigued to see BB’s approach.

Houston's parents killed themselves when he was 13 so that's why he's moody and broody the entire book. We don't find this out until the last 10% or so. Lines become blurred, many limbs and arms become entangled, hearts and souls are on the line. Twists and turns which left me gasping. There Is No Such Thing As Too Many Books Shirt, Reading Book Lover Shirt, Librarian Shirt, Book Lover Gift, Bibliophile Shirt, Blogger Shirt i loved the second half of the book when their friendship began to heal itself. seeing their true brotherhood without all of the hatred was really sweet and fun. they would ruin themselves for each other, it was raw and damaged, dirty and ugly. but in the end they did everything they could to fix the broken pieces of themselves and each other... with the help of their dark rebel, Braxton. It seemed easy enough when I boarded their tour bus, but it only took one city for the lines we'd drawn to blur.Once.” I turned just enough to catch the faraway look in his eyes. “It was a waste of time, so I wouldn’t recommend it.” The dialogue and dynamic between the characters is beautiful and I love seeing them heal from their pasts. I loved reading the personal growth of all four main characters through the book. Especially, the way they find a way to forgive others and themselves and come out even stronger in the end. Star Rating You behave like a boy who’s just been told he has to play nice with girls. You trample, growl, and puff out your chest just to show me who’s in charge. It’s been three months, Houston. I’m still not convinced, but I finally know the reason why. I’ve been asking for your respect when I should have told you that you haven’t even begun to earn mine.” Lilac gets 5 stars, 4 peppers, and 1 tissue. I didn’t cry a lot during this book but there were a few scenes that had me wiping tears away. The story is perfect, the characters are memorable, and I can’t wait to put a copy of this book on my bookshelf. Final Thoughts on Lilac

As usual, I will try to keep spoilers to a minimum however, as with any review I write, there may still be a few small spoilers. but these three were falling apart— on the brink of collapse, these three life-long best friends were hanging on by the skin of their teeth with Braxton’s arrival either making or breaking them. they wanted to make each other bleed. they trash rooms as they fought. flashing their teeth and throwing barbs at one another that cut deep. it made for an even more enthralling dynamic. Three months of preparations pass them by pleasantly while insults, slamming doors, sleazy flirtations of the band members and nerves of all present (including me) and they finally begin the tour. They spend the journey on the band's humble bus - a bus with a living room, a kitchen, a room with bunk beds, another room with a double bed (for groupies), a shower room , and also, yes, room for a driver. Kindred Spirit Tshirt, Anne of Green Gables Shirt, Anne Shirley Quote, Anne with an E, Best Friend Shirt, Best Friend Gifts And I am supposed to be rooting for these men? I am supposed to be turned on by them? I am supposed to care about their redemption (if they even have one at all)?UNISON is campaigning to ensure that the living wage is extended to all staff, including those working for contractors. Across the board I don’t get any further. She’s heard the shift in my voice and crossed the hallway in a heartbeat. She wastes only a moment in gaping, then shoves past me to dash across the pile of clothes, laughing. Linked to the above: this is a very long, about 170k words. But I think this is a great length. I didn't find that it dragged at all, and actually if it had been any shorter this would have done a disservice to the story being told. Tarver, Tarver. There are—can you see them all?” She’s running the flashlight over the offerings, revealing swaths of fabric of every colour.
