About this deal

So she does what every girl does when she’s broken up with her: she calls her friends, gets drunk, dyes her hair, and formulates her plan for revenge. The universe supports her efforts and gives her the perfect match to prove to her ex that he made a huge mistake: his boss. You’re a damn liar, Abigail Amelia Keller. You want big and you want sparkle and you want extravagance. Not in price, but in love and adoration. And right here, right now, I’m promising to spend the rest of my life giving you that. I am absolutely wild about you. You are my sun and my moon and I will be yours. You completely consume me.” ✿⊱╮ This was always more, Abigail. I don’t blame you for wanting revenge. If you had told me from the start, I would have agreed. Richard’s an ass. An ass who won’t have a job after the holidays.”

Enter best friend, Luka Peters. He just came home for some hot chocolate and somehow got a farm and a serious girlfriend. That is, until he leaves her crying outside her apartment wearing a Halloween costume, having broken it off with her because she’s just not serious enough. She was just fun, he tells her – and now that Richard has become a partner at his law firm in his sights, he needs to focus on work. Because the nature of the plot, there was miscommunication throughout. Abbie tried to tell Damien about her plan multiple times and he kept being like “tell me later,” which annoyed me. But the FINALE. THE LOVE CONFESSIONS. They made up for it. Also for my “why does every romance novel need to have babies in the epilogue 🙄” girlies you’re gonna be really happy with this one. Also, I know it’s been a while since I’ve taken high school Spanish but isn’t “rubia” Spanish for blonde? So my assumption is that it was meant to be used as a term of endearment like “blondie” but what was being used was the word that describes someone’s hair color…so idk that’s just what I substituted every time he called her “rubia”. was the sweetest, most adoring character ever. His little ways of showing his affection gave me this insane amount of butterflies. And Oof this guy has some serious dirty talk… damn boi. The way he helped her heal was so frigging beautiful and ugh I just love him sm.

When I found out this book was a loosely based on legally blonde my interest was piqued. Then I found out Morgan bases her books off of Taylor Swift songs. and I was sold. Talk about combining two of my favorite things! ever. So I had to read it and I. Regret. Nothing. But when the relationship starts to become something more than casual dating and Abbie sees that the tough New York lawyer has a soft side, will she be able to follow through with her plan of deceit? Abbie Keller thought that Richard Bartholemew Benson the Third would be her forever. In their four years of dating, she never doubted that she wouldn’t end up with his grandmother’s engagement ring on her finger. Sure, she had to change a few things about herself to fit that mold, like dying her hair, dressing more conservatively, and finding golf enjoyable (honestly, the most difficult of the changes), but she was sure that at the end of it all, it would be worth it. FROM A COZY NEW ENGLAND HAVEN TO THE HEART OF NEW ORLEANS COMES ONE HOLIDAY THAT’LL CHANGE THEIR LIVES That is until he leaves her crying outside her apartment wearing a Halloween costume, having broken it off with her because she's "just not serious enough ." She was just fun, he tells her, but now that Richard has set his sights on becoming a partner at his law firm, he needs to focus on work.

I think that I could never really get around her using him like that and letting it go so far. (I never buy in to the "I tried to tell him excuse" it's weak) This is a book I KNOW I’ll reread forever. It gave me everything I wanted and more. Ugh, it’s too good! I loved Abbie too. I could relate to a lot of parts of her. She is amazing, she is unapologetically herself even though a certain someone tried to force her to be someone else🙄 From #1 New York Times bestselling author of It Happened One Summer comes a romantic comedy about an accidental relationship between three smitten men...and one commitment phobic woman.

They’re made by you. You take care of me—you take care of anyone who lets you, really. You think color can change the world and you prove it, one person at a time, every single day."
