About this deal

Foxgloves are best planted in spring or autumn, when the soil is moist and warm, to encourage new root growth. The story itself is intriguing with a solid mystery at its heart and it rattles along at a steady pace, whilst still allowing Peter time to enjoy the country life. It's certainly a refreshing new angle to take as the other books are set in the city. This is a great, gritty and whimsical read. 5/5 stars * Book Shelf Butterfly *

It's deflating and disappointing. I am not sure if this was just me, but in previous books I remember being told that there was no other magic practitioners alive in Britain and now low and behold we find out there are many retired ex-folly magic users living in the country, have their own society and Nightingale knows all about them. If you were going to drop a major change in this, I would have hoped for something as like a secret society as an explanation not just slipping it in, hoping no one notices.
