Witchcraft can be followed as an individual or as part of a coven, or with a partner but this book is chiefly for the solitary practitioner. It explains about rituals and stresses that you can use your own words though the book suggests words which can be used. What came over to me most strongly from this book is that anyone considering the practice of witchcraft needs to understand themselves and their own motivations. Hedge witchery in general is experiential and a slow and natural progression of interests and events often experienced from childhood and persisting all through your life. As Aristotle said, ‘For the things we have to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them.’ I recently discovered that I am a Hedge Witch. I took many witch tests to find out what kind of witch I am, and it always came up as Hedge Witch. Not that I mind it, but agree hat this is what I am. I an 71 years young, and married with a daughter, we also have two dogs also. I am enjoying my life and am happy with what life has given me. Thanks for having this test, it is really fun. I enjoyed it very much. Hedge witchery is highly based on the old-fashioned ways of living and this highly resonates with you. You might even find yourself a bit out of place in this modern, fast-paced living society. I have been practicing hedge magic and hedgerow spirituality for almost forty five years. So I can tell you this. If followed with commitment, this Path can bring you to see the magical, shape-shifting nature of all reality and also to see a role for yourself within that as a healing spell-caster with spirit allies. I finally got the chance to read this book, I bought it used. As a person who doesn't know any fellow witches to share her views with, I thought this would be a book to read. I do like to learn I study everything. I am very cognitive aware. emotionally aware. I see myself as the master of my ship. I am fiercely interdependent. As a Hedge Witch, you are more likely to practice on your own in the comfort of your home. You find it more appealing to study the magic in your own way and pace. The practice that you do is informal, domestic, and based around everyday activities.

Hedge witchery is highly based on home practice. And by doing that, your home becomes a sanctuary. A sacred place that connects your physical reality with a more spiritual approach.

Keep collections to yourself or inspire other shoppers! Keep in mind that anyone can view public collections - they may also appear in recommendations and other places. Most people seemed to have hated the letter format. It took some getting used to but by the end it didn't bother me. While reading I marked passages dealing with the Sabbat rituals and trance work so I could easily find these later to reference. It then goes on to describe the Celtic festivals of the year and how a hedge witch views them, along with a good section on the elements and the magic that they hold. The favorite books for you are most likely to be based on historical times and talk about real-life issues. They also might be focused on healing or natural remedies.

She teaches them little by little, step by step and answers their questions and tailors spells and steps to take for them. Threadneedle was one of my favorite 2021 novels. It had such a rich magical world, such intriguing and layered characters and such a brutal plot-line. I was therefore very excited that we were gonna get more books in this world! Of course, I had hoped for the sequel, but while waiting for that I take what I can get, among which this novella.
