Description

People usually blame their sun cream. Our dermatology nurses advise you try a supermarket own brand cream first, as more expensive creams have more ingredients, such as fragrances, which have more potential to cause reactions. Many families manage to identify a cream that suits their child but you should not rely on word of mouth, as the same cream will suit some children but cause reactions in other children! This dual-purpose sun cream combines the anti-ageing benefits of alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) with broad spectrum protection to leave skin feeling fresh. Tried Sunsense sensitive spf50 due to major flare up of allergy excema. I am sure it does the job but unless you want to look like you have been dipped in brilliant white emulsion I suggest you give this product a miss. It was impossible to rub in enough to not leave a white coat on your skin. Uvistat SPF 50 lipscreen contains Vitamin E and Tea Tree oil. The moisturising balm helps prevent lips from becoming dry and chapped. With the lips being the area of the body with the least layers of skin, then extra care should be taken all year round.

I bought sun sense anti ageing factor 50 as I thought it would do the job of a moisturiser as well as a sun protector. I used it for 4 days, but my skin became very red, itchy and sore so I discontinued use. I've been using Sun Sense SPF 50, 500ml dispenser for several years. I have used it every day on the recommendation of my dermatologist to cover all exposed parts of my body due to having developed very sensitive skin and a melanoma in 2018. This New Formulation helps protect, soothe and moisturise dry, chapped lips in all seasons. Now with added Vitamin E.

A Day in The Life of a Qualified Occupational Therapist living with Lupus and Type 1 Diabetes by Melissa October 18, 2023 We use your kids suncream and rate it highly but bought the roll on one so my daughter could put it in better by herself at school but it doesn't work. I've tried lots and given up and will just open it out and pour it into an old bottle. Disappointed Most people don’t put enough cream on to achieve the protection stated on the bottle! Be generous, apply every couple of hours, or more frequently if swimming or sweating a lot.

For use when a very high protection sunscreen is desired by those with sensitive skin or sensitive skin conditions; or when a non-nano sunscreen is sought. Use at least 30ml per adult application. Apply to clean dry skin at least 20 minutes prior to sun exposure. Reapply every two hours and after swimming, exercise or toweling dry. Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Avoid prolonged sun exposure and wear protective clothing, hats and eyewear to further reduce risk. Frequent re-application is required.

Best sun cream ever. My daughter used to get a skin reaction with over the counter creams so a dermatologist suggested Sunsense. Since then everyone in our family uses it. Suitable for all skin types including oily or acne-prone skin and great for hairy areas of the body An easy-to- apply milk formulation especially designed for the delicate skin of infants and children. It provides SPF 50 broad spectrum protection, yet contains lower levels of substances which may irritate your child’s sensitive skin. Is it just me or can anyone not find the SunSense Sensitive Invisible in the purple bottle anymore? Creams for “sensitive” skin are probably less irritating, but these tend to be ones that leave a white sheen on the skin (titanium dioxide), which some people don’t like.

We have been using Sunsense for the last 10 years, since my then two year old daughter had a bad reaction to a big brand cream that we used on her whilst on holiday. My Australian sister in law recommended SunSense and sent some over for us (it was hard to get in the UK then), and the whole family have been using it ever since. Great products!

If swimming indoors, apply your usual emollient cream or, better still, an emollient ointment, before entering the pool. It is a good idea to put on more cream than you usually would, so that it acts as a good barrier to the water.

In recent months, LUPUS UK has received a growing number of reports from lupus patients unable to obtain SunSense SPF50+ products via their NHS prescription. On Friday, 19th of August, it was confirmed that all SunSense SPF50+ products will be unavailable indefinitely. Your SunSense products were recommended to me by Amyjayne Aesthetics last year. I was given some free samples to try, I was extremely pleased with the lightness of them, they're not heavy at all on the skin, they soak in beautifully I especially love the tinted cream. I would definitely recommend anyone to try these, I'm sure you'll love them as much as I do. Patients who receive SunSense SPF50+ products on prescription are advised to consult their doctor for a suitable replacement. Currently, the following Uvistatsunscreens are available on prescription to anyone who suffers from light sensitivity (including all lupus patients):
