And learn techniques to manage stress. The goals I set for myself, the food I eat, the activities I do are my choices alone. I will not let anyone discourage, tempt, or belittle my efforts.Prior to making that resolution, I was happy most of the time. I was Tao when life was up and down. I looked for, and always found, silver linings. I trained my brain to do this. I fired and wired that M.O. It became automatic. Effortless. I am responsible for my weight-loss. I determine what I eat and drink and I have control of my appetite. I am blessed with talent, resources, knowledge, ideas that make me a valuable and relevant part of any group or organization. Another was to do with my business, I would normally shy away from talking about price from customers, I'd stutter feel awkward but out of nowhere I'm giving it like it is, asking how important is it to you (like a pro) and then upselling! I'm like wow is that me! Again I've made affirmations about me being an excellent business woman and I just instinctively know what to do!

I share how I used the techniques in this book to find the man of my dreams, travel the world, move to one of the most beautiful hilltop towns in Italy, and become a romance author! By meditating everyday I stimulate my parasympathetic nervous system, which causes a SU PER immune response.I support the people I love and provide them with an abundance of love, attention, support, hope, inspiration, and guidance. There were some things I really loved about this book. I loved that the author attached coffee drinking, an activity I do every day and enjoy, with an affirmation practice. She made it very easy by stating that it would only take 5 minutes while drinking your coffee in the morning. I did follow along, not sure it would work for me, but I found I loved doing it. I have been writing and re-writing my affirmations and it saying them each day starts my day on a positive note! Affirmations are positive statements you say to yourself i.e. I take care of my body by exercising, eating right and practicing mindfulness, etc.
